✨ I’ve been thinking about legacy a lot lately. Not the kind that fades with time, but the kind that lives on in love, in faith, and in the people we pour into.

Becoming a husband taught me what it means to love unconditionally. Becoming a father is teaching me what it means to trust God on a whole new level.

Son, before you even take your first breath, you’ve already changed our lives. You’ve reminded me that blessings don’t come from things—they come from people, from faith, from family. In less than two months I’ll be able to hold you.

One day you’ll read this, and I hope you’ll always know: you were prayed for, prepared for, and deeply loved long before you arrived. You are the best part of our story, and I thank God every day for writing you into it.

Here’s to the next chapter — fatherhood, family, and a love that never ends. 💙 by @thatsdevo

Ya boy is officially a husband. 💍

No big crowd. No “traditional” setup. Just us, some paperwork, and a whole lot of love.

We didn’t wait on perfect because our perfect doesn’t depend on anyone else’s timeline or story. We did this for us. For our son. For the legacy we’re building. ❤️

I’ve always been the type to move with intention. I don’t play house I’d rather build one. And when we found out our little boy was on the way I knew it was time to lay the foundation for the kind of family and love I’ve always prayed for 🙏🏾

There’s power in alignment. In commitment. In doing things your way, with God at the center of it all.

This chapter means everything to us and one day, our baby boy will look back and know that his parents moved with purpose. That his father chose love. Chose responsibility. Chose legacy. 💫

A wedding celebration will come later, but this moment right here, this is what matters.

God’s timing is divine, and this union is blessed.

We celebrated twice. We said yes to forever. And now we’re having a boy! 💍👶🏽💙

Man the past few weeks have been wild in the best way.

We had two baby showers one in Florida and one back home in Austin. Two families showing us love. Two moments I’ll never forget.

I proposed. She said yes. So now ya boy got a fiancée ❤️💍

It still doesn’t feel real sometimes but this is everything I prayed for. A family of my own. A future I can build on. A reason to go even harder 🙏🏾

Appreciate every hug, every text, every person who’s shown up and support us. And I’m just thankful God chose me for this next chapter.

Baby boy loading and I’m too ready. Now we have to choose a name 😭💙

A few months ago, life had me feeling stuck.

Work felt like a dead end. I was getting denied for every house I applied to. And then boom! Ya boy found out I’m about to be a dad.

I didn’t have time to wait for things to get better. I needed answers. Fast.

But looking back now… God was just making room for something better.

Mid-May hit. I got the house. I stepped into a new role doing what I love. The same doors that felt locked flew wide open. 🙏🏾

So if you’re in that “almost” season right now…
I’m begging you STAY THE FUCKING COURSE 💫

It’s not over. You’re not stuck. You’re being built for it.

Drop a comment if you needed to hear this today 🗣️

God doesn’t call the qualified—He qualifies the called 🙏🏾✨

And when I found out I was going to be a dad, I finally understood what that meant.

I didn’t feel ready. I didn’t have all the answers.
But in that moment, I wasn’t thinking about fear—I was thinking about purpose.
I said bet. We doing this.

Everything shifted.
I went from planning my next move to planning a legacy.

You might never feel 100% ready. But if God brings you to it, He’ll grow you through it.
You don’t have to be perfectl you just have to be present.

This journey ain’t just about becoming a dad.
It’s about breaking cycles. Building better. Walking in purpose.

You’ve got what it takes. Even when you doubt it—especially then.

Let this be your sign! You were chosen for a reason. Walk in it.
