Here’s the deal you guys, it can be hard raising bi-racial babies. I have heard from so many people that the struggle can be real at times feeling torn between two identities. I am so fortunate that part of my daughter’s other family is a part of her life, and all I can do is my part to keep her feeling as in tune with herself as possible. I love getting to do these things for her to keep her glowing and shining in her culture the best I can. That is my twin right there, and my best friend. She has no idea how much I love her. Being a mom is the hardest and most rewarding job I’ll ever have. Raising a whole person, trying to teach them right from wrong, while hoping you do everything right is a lot of pressure at times. I have to remind myself to step back and look from the outside and realize how lucky I am. Somehow this girl right here is the sweetest, funniest, most compassionate little head strong monster I’ve ever seen and I’ve never been more proud. This goes out to everyone. Not just my friends. I have people on here I haven’t seen in years. I have people on here I’ve never met in person. You never know whats going on behind closed doors, but the wins we all decide to share with one another are something I genuinely celebrate for yall.
