To my loved ones: my family, my friends turned family, my biggest supporters… this one’s for you.
I love y’all more than words can say. I’d be lying if I said I was the most communicative person — I’m not. I’ve always been independent and kept to myself. If you know me, you know that. But every day, I work on opening up more, and your patience means everything to me.
Thank you for showing up for me — not just when I ask, but even when I don’t. Thank you for learning me, loving me, and supporting me in ways that go beyond words. My circle’s always been small for a reason — what we have isn’t something you find everywhere and can never be replaced.
Thank you for the endless laughter. For letting me cry, then telling me how pretty I look while doing it. For listening to my stories, and giving advice that actually hits (Niecy and Dad — y’all the GOATs). For reminding me to stay true to myself and keep pushing forward. Thank you for being real.
A special shoutout to my Ummi — thank you for passing down your perseverance, your work ethic, and your strength. You’ve been my one and only role model since I was a kid. I hope I’ve made you proud.

You all are my foundation; the place I come back to when I need to feel grounded, protected, and loved. Each of you means the world to me.

To my younger self: You did it.

Only the Lord knows the silent pains I carried, the nights I cried in private, and the strength it took just to keep going. Over these years, I gained confidence, discovered who I am, and stayed true to the path I set for myself.

All of this—while juggling three jobs, showing up for class, and still making the most of my final year at my HBCU.

My pain became my purpose. My struggles, my strength. The sky isn’t the limit for me, it’s just the beginning!

Here’s to the journey, the growth, and everything still to come. Cheers to college and becoming the woman I was always meant to be. 🤍

Yesterday, I graduated from Delaware State University with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, concentrating in Forensic Science. Another chapter in my book has officially come to a close. These past four years have shaped me into the woman I am today. I’m proud to say I maintained a 3.0 GPA throughout it all. I cherished every moment—through all the highs and lows, I persevered, and I wouldn’t change a thing. I’m forever grateful for how far I’ve come and for the blessings that carried me here.
