came such a long way on my curly hair journey 🥺

I’m so grateful to have gotten to a place where I feel most confident and myself in my curls. having curls requires a lot of trail and error, bad cuts, constant product testing and most importantly confidence in your natural beauty ✨

loving my curls required acceptance, patience and a whole new level of self care to make me feel my best stepping out into the world. I think we often see people where they’re at and not what for them there so let this be your reminder to be patient with your curls & if you love them, they will love you back 🤍

before you give up on your curls, try these 3 tricks 🌟

1. add enough water - this is going to help your styling products cling to your curl
2. product distribution - no product = frizzy curls! be generous and leave no curl unturned ;)
3. break cast with oil - curls ever left feeling crunchy? it’s probably from your gel!! use a light oil & scrunch for the softest curls 🫧

trying to do a straight hair tutorial on curls will never look the same but how are you supposed to know when you don’t see representation of people like you in media?

when you see certain beauty standards that you don’t share, it’s easy to feel like you don’t fit the mold that society deems as beautiful. I struggled with this a lot growing up which is why I love sharing curl & confidence tips to encourage the girlies to let that natural light shine 🌟

hair holds so much. I honestly feel like a completely different person depending on the state of my hair so having the power of knowing how to make you feel your best is so empowering.

I’ve had so many bad dye jobs, choppy hair cuts & products that don’t work on textured hair which has made me sooooooooooooo passionate on finding the things that actually work.

having curls used to be my biggest insecurity and now it’s turned into what I’m most confident about 🌟

you have the power to change anything! it all starts with mindset and making moves to get yourself there 🤍
