It’s not in perfect condition, but scooped up this 1958, English edition, of Aku-Aku by Thor Heyerdahl today at the thrift store! 🗿 #tiki #tikibook #easterisland #moai #ladieswhotiki #tikibar #thorheyerdahl #tikikon #history #rapanui #thriftstore #thrifting #thriftstorefinds by @thattikigirl

Found this shirt at the thrift store and loved the fabric. I walked away because I knew it wasn’t something I was going to wear, but I came back to it and decided I’d repurpose it for a pillow for our tiki bar! #tiki #tikibar #ladieswhotiki #thrift #alohashirt #thrifting #repurposed #tikidecor #sewing #sewing #diy by @thattikigirl

At the recommendation of @rumrevival , @highproofpreacher, @likeablecocktails and @therumchampion I’m finally giving a rum Negroni a go! 🥃 I like it soooo much better than a traditional gin Negroni, which is much too bitter for my taste. This might also be the most expensive home cocktail I’ve made with the Hampden Estate Pagos rum, aged in sherry casks, Campari and Cocchi vermouth di Torino, which might be the best vermouth I’ve had. Stirred not shaken, this was a perfect choice to sip while we watch @missionimpossible Dead Reckoning.

1oz Rum
1 oz vermouth
1 oz Campari
2 dashes orange bitters

Stir with ice and strain into a rocks glass over a large spherical or square ice cube. Express oils and garnish with an orange peel.

Laying low this chilly Saturday night. Watching some @f1 testing. Hubby’s had a cold after our Bay Area trip so I made him a hot toddy and thought well heck, I’ll make a rum toddy! Delicious! Both made with local spirits and honey! @heritagedistilling for the whiskey and @thinkingtreespirits for the rum! 🤤 #hottoddy #rum #whiskey #thinkingtree #heritagedistilling #cocktails #tiki #bearmountainhoney #honey #winter #saturdaynight #craftcocktails #tasty #eatdrinkandbemerry #imbibe #ladieswhotiki #rumdrinks by @thattikigirl

I squealed when I walked in and saw these original little Putz houses in an antique mall so close to home! Not quite ready for full holiday decor, but scouring thrift stores and vintage malls for cool vintage finds! #putzhouse #christmas #vintage #vintagechristmas #antiquemall #thriftstorefinds #thrifting #christmasdecor #nostalgia by @thattikigirl

We had pineapple and mint that needed to be used so I made Aku Akus. The peach liqueur give such a fresh pop. The @smugglerscovesf recipe is so yummy! #akuaku #tikidrinks #ladieswhotiki #rum #rumdrinks #homebar #yummy #limes #martincate #smugglerscove by @thattikigirl
