Malone University baseball golf outing this morning that Arrowhead country club. coach asked me if I would be able to say a prayer and give a brief inspirational message as the team chaplain. this was an honor I talked about how Paul in Romans 7 talks about why do I do the things I don't want to do and don't do the things I want to do ? I shared the idea that in golf or any sport or anything in life we hit the ball where we don't want to we miss a putt. and we don't do the things we want to do like make the putt hit the ball straight all those kinds of things this is a road map of life thank God for his Grace. it also has been an amazing week that I put a dumbbell workout in there from Wednesday or Thursday and had shoulder replacement surgery on Friday 6 to 8 weeks for recovery. I'll be ready for spring training by @thavs33

Wednesday and Thursday had a good workout this week, Friday I had shoulder replacement surgery which I'll be down for for 6 to 8 weeks or more. I did get to stop by the Malone University baseball team golf outing. as some of you know I'm the chaplain for the baseball team and I have the honor to do that. coach asked me if I would lead a devotional didn't know if I would be able to do the surgery but as you can see I made it. Romans 7 Paul talks about why do I do the things I don't want to do and don't do the things I want to do, I know when I play golf I never hit the ball where I want to hit it and I never make the putts I want to make I always do the things I don't want to do and don't do the things I want to do. thank God for his grace. MU baseball rocks 💯💪 by @thavs33

I haven't posted much lately it's been a sad time with the loss of our good friend Jim Mitchell from the club as well as Tommy John. there were so many good things going on but also so many sad things in the background. I want to share some great stuff from the club. Are chairman of the Thurman Munson scholarship award dinner Steve Fettman did a great job with this event here's some highlights. special guest Rodger clemens, as well as Lenny Barker, Bernie kosar, and the best welcome speech ever by one of our club guys take a listen. by @thavs33
