I can't imagine a world
without lace, love,
and beautiful stories.

Destination weddings are more than events—they become shared experiences.
The places, people, and quiet in-between moments deserve to be remembered
with honesty and intention.
My work blends documentary storytelling with an editorial eye, creating
imagery that feels timeless, cinematic, and deeply personal.
I believe the most meaningful photographs come from genuine connection,
allowing you to remain fully present while your story naturally unfolds.

It is a privilege to preserve these memories for generations to come.

I am local to Ojai, reach out if you have an event and love to connect. by @thayeragowdy

hello friends! I am looking to rent out my home while away for two weeks Sept. 8-23rd. Not ideal for kids, no pets. great for couple. Ojai, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, cocktail pool, full kitchen, laundry + AC. I have a tenant in ADU attached to house, so prefer quiet folks. Pls DM if you are interested. by @thayeragowdy

Lets talk Portraits.

I have been a photographer for over 25 years and to this day capturing real people portraits is deeply moving to me. I am often known for my authenticity in my images. My connection and passion for people translates into the images. I am genuinely curious, love hearing stories and peeking into their beautiful lives, a vulnerability and a sense of joy shines through when I capture portraits.

This month follow along as I share stories and portraits I love. by @thayeragowdy

some things I am up to lately.... loving spring days stocking pottery for upcoming markets, website updates, finishing up my little shared studio, procrastinating digging holes for courtyard fencing and dreaming of stone walls. OH and I have some days available this summer if your getting married and in need of a photographer. Doing lots of things and they all inspire each other. by @thayeragowdy
