Last big delivery for a bit. I have smaller orders here and there but a moment to breathe on cakes. It's crunch time for gingerbread nationals baby! by @the.baking.pixie

Ahhh!!!! I have a cake client/friend who is now a published author!!!! Her first book, Fire and Death, is officially out tomorrow. She asked for a burn cake to celebrate with her family tonight and I couldn't be prouder of her. My daughter and I are stoked to get our pre-order soon!! 🔥💀🖤 by @the.baking.pixie

The year is flying by!!! And nationals are just around the corner. With that being said, and having cakes on my calendar every week till mid Nov, it's time to close out any new orders coming in for a bit. I will see you after gingerbread nationals Nov 14-16!! by @the.baking.pixie

When the inspiration picture came strolling through my feed here, I did a happy dance. I hardly throw my name out anymore on the mom groups because I have been embracing a slower summer here. But I just had to get this order. When I showed the client my gingerbread piece from last year we knew we were "vibing" as my preteen says. Now I just hope the bday girls have an absolutely wonderfully nerdy LOTR themed party today 🍄🧝🏻‍♀️💚 by @the.baking.pixie

Seriously?!? I try to take a slower summer to do fun things with the kids since last summer was spent so much on the gingerbread show. And fate is a tricksy little hobbit sometimes. Sprained hamstring with 6 weeks of physical therapy. Guess I get to armchair quarterback Bailey's national piece this summer. 🩼🤕 by @the.baking.pixie

This cake started as a typed list of favorite things of the birthday boy, turned into a sketch, and then got so big it barely fits in the frame! 🐮🍰📚 by @the.baking.pixie
