Everything about the shop is personal to me. I hand-pick it all.. from the goods to the aromas, to the music. So when you all comment on how good the ambience feels, or how you feel a certain way when you’re here, it means so much to me. I want this space to move you to another place… A warm desert sky, a night drive through the canyons, a sense of calm.. but with a little ache of nostalgia🖤🌵 You’ve asked about the music in the shop… so here it is. Listen to it when you need a little emo escape🛸 Search The Brass Hand in Spotify, or link in bio. by @the.brass.hand
Come see us where the theme is literally warm sunshine all year☀️🌵 Plants, gifts, vintage decor, and local makers!! by @the.brass.hand
Local elections matter. We all know voting won’t win the class war (it’s just us against the billionaires yall) but local elections MATTER. Every vote counts and Ohio desperately needs a change. Please get out there today. REAL IMPORTANT NOTE: Real change happens when we get involved in our community.. follow @peoples.def.cbus to learn how to get your boots on the ground ♥️ by @the.brass.hand
WHAT A NIGHT! 👻✨ You ghouls made The First Annual SEEance one of my absolute favorites! We crafted, we laughed, we got tattooed…some of you for the VERY FIRST TIME…and we summoned a few spirits with the best cocktails in town from I Like It Like That. 🍸🖤 Thank you for bringing your creativity, your incredible costumes, and your willingness to get a little weird with us. Watching this tiny community grow has been such a joy. My spooky little heart loves you all. 🥹 Next up: A Very Kooky Christmas! 🎄🎀 Thursday, December 10 | 6–9 PM Crafting, cocktails, prizes for the most festively dressed and MORE! Consider this your permission to be wildly overdressed and unnecessarily festive. Tickets coming soon! Keep your eyes peeled. We’re ending the SEE year with a little Christmas chaos. ✨ by @the.brass.hand
Hiii here’s a mini tour + behind-the-scenes update at our Brass Earth scent studio in Grandview!! We now have an amazingly talented team of 12 people between Brass Earth & Brass Hand💜🧡 My mind is blown that at this point we hand-produce more than 30,000 incense sticks per week in the studio, and ship to small boutiques in 49 U.S. states + Australia, Scotland, England, Japan & Canada🤯 Our studio also hosts creative events like comedy shows, live music, and craft nights (including a spooky/tarot/tattoo/crafty night on Friday! Tix in bio), and we don’t charge creatives a fee to hold their events here. We’ve donated more than $4,000 to local mutual aid this year. It’s alwaysss been my dream to create spaces and art that are beautiful, weird, comfortable, and most importantly accessible and give back. Between the shop & the studio I feel like we are doing it!!! Just a humongous thank you to our amazing team, our amazing customers, and all of our new small business partners around the world. It’s blowing my mind, y’all 😭 This past year with Brass Earth & the past SIX YEARS with The Brass Hand has been beyond my wildest dreams and I’m just so grateful for all of you. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU by @the.brass.hand

Sometimes when I’m folding boxes and stuffing them with these little smell-good things that I make with my hands… I just line em up and stare at them lol ..I love them! I believe in them! I think scent has so much power! It shapes our memories.. can pull us right back to a moment.. sets the tone.. relaxes us. It’s spiritual and ritualistic, and whimsical!! Scent is magic!! Each of these fragrances was built from my own memories & favorite things. Each one has a story that I will yak your ear off about if you ask me about them. Anyway I’m so glad you love them like I do! Grateful for every person & small biz who has ever bought- As of yesterday we are selling them in small boutiques in 46 states + Canada + Australia! ✨🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 by @the.brass.hand

BEFORE & AFTER!! Hello from our new accessory wall! 🌞 Swipe for the before & the progress pics! 🍊 As we come up on the 5 year anniversary of the shop we’ve been focusing on refreshing things here & there in ways that honor our origin story... I’m from Arizona originally but grew up here in Ohio (Dayton!💎) I’ve always tried to infuse the Sonoran Desert that’s in my soul.. the colors, textures, plants, scents, and auras.. into our groovy little slice of Columbus. My hope is that when you walk in you immediately get a sense of warmth & discover a new maker, artist, plant, fragrance.. any little thing to make your life feel more whimsical and weird. 🏜️🛸 Basically what I’m sayin is WE LOVE YOU ALL & hope you like the changes!! ♥️🌵 PS Free Plant Day is coming soooooooon 👀 And thank you @handsprung for painting this CRISPY arch! 🍊 by @the.brass.hand
