One of our favorite things about @thisismystic is that you don’t need a car. We walked everywhere, making it such an easy and relaxing place to explore.

The perfect day DOES exist 😍😍

We’re always so inspired by people who can truly maximize their days, especially when it comes to balancing work and fun!

Most of our days are spent sitting in front of a computer, but on this day, we let go of having to be struck at home 🤭😏

We took our morning calls on the go, spent the afternoon working from home, and then continued on to have the most magical day. Sometimes it’s just nice to treat yourself ✨⭐️

Anyways, even if you don’t do this exact itinerary the way we did, you MUST try all of the spots we visited:

Starting in 2027, my goal is for us to hit 10,000 steps daily (unless we’re sick 🙏). To build up to it, I’m starting with 5,000 steps a day in August and increasing by 1,000 steps each month until January!

Don’t worry 😏 we’ll be sharing all our routes and itineraries along the way! Since we’re moving into a van, staying active is a huge priority (since our gym routine will look a little different without a fixed physical space)

These are sooo many places in San Francisco we’ll probably never get tired of visiting 😏and Dragon’s
Tale Staircases is one of them!

It’s tucked into a quiet neighborhood, and every time we come here we’re reminded that some of the best parts of a city aren’t the famous landmarks, they’re places you find when you decide to wander.

Of course we stumbled on these steps while wandering on foot 🤭

It honestly still doesn't feel real 🫠🙃🙈

I don't think it will until we actually have the van in our possession.
But the countdown has officially begun. In 90 days, we'll be packing up our apartment and moving into a van. ❤️

There's a reason behind this decision, and I can't wait to share it with you very, very soon!!!

Don't worry...our content isn't suddenly becoming a full-time van life page. We'll still be sharing walking guides, hidden gems, coffee shops, and all the adventures you know us for. Most of our van life content will live over on YouTube.

That said, ever since we've started telling our friends and family, we've realized so many people dream about doing something like this one day.

So we thought it might be fun to document the transition. If you're curious about anything (from downsizing our apartment to building routines, budgeting, or just what day-to-day life actually looks like) let us know. We'd love to bring you along and share the behind-the-scenes as we figure it out.

One thing that might surprise you is that we actually plan to spend a lot of time in urban areas, which feels a little different from the typical van life you usually see.

I'll also be the first to admit... I love a hot shower, a private bathroom, and having my own laundry machine. 😂 But I also love stepping outside my comfort zone, and who knows... maybe we'll completely fall in love with this lifestyle.

Only time will tell.
