Our architecture and interiors team fully transformed this historic Neo-Grec rowhouse for a young family, honoring its architectural heritage while introducing warmth and individuality.

Drawing inspiration from the comfort of the English countryside and the restraint of Scandinavian design, the interiors balance elegance with everyday living.

Read more about this project, currently featured on @fredericmagazine. Thank you @dara_caponigro @alice.the.editor @hudsonmoore for telling this home’s beautiful story.

Before a stair can be built, it has to be imagined. In the studio, we shaped it first as a study model, exploring how the curve would turn, how the rail would meet the hand, and how the light from above would fall across each step. What began as an idea held in our hands became a sweep of mahogany, rising toward the light. taken in Cobble Hill Historic District by @the.brooklyn.studio

A house rebuilt almost entirely from the inside needs something to hold it together. Here, tile became the answer. One material, carried from the front door to the top floor. Handmade, colorful, and a little unexpected at every turn, it brings the warmth of a childhood home in Istanbul into an 1852 Brooklyn rowhouse. taken in Boerum Hill Historic District by @the.brooklyn.studio

Millwork built for growing up holds its shape through every season. A bed nook here, a reading window there, quiet enough to focus. As the routines of the school year return, these rooms settle back into rhythm. taken in Brooklyn, New York by @the.brooklyn.studio

A century and a quarter is a long time for stained glass to remain intact, for carved oak to hold its edge, and for a fireplace surround to remain as it was installed. In this Park Slope Flemish Renaissance rowhouse, none of it was replaced. It was meticulously restored.

Travel often becomes part of a home’s story. Inspired by the homeowners’ connection to Barcelona, the third-floor bathroom is anchored by Arabescato Turquoise polished stone, with a vibrant veining that captures the warmth, light, and relaxed rhythm of the Mediterranean. taken in Cobble Hill Historic District by @the.brooklyn.studio

Welcome home! From Neo-Grec to Greek Revival, to Renaissance Revival and Italianate, these doors have carried Brooklyn families across the threshold for well over a century. Pilasters, friezes, and transoms mark each style, true to the house to which each one belongs. taken in Brooklyn, New York by @the.brooklyn.studio
