This one hurts. We’ve been boys since we were little kids. You always had a gift of bringing people together and leaving a positive impact on everyone you met. When I had some of the darkest times of my life you were there to lift me up and support me. I’ll never forget that. I wish you saw in yourself what everyone else sees in you 😔.

It never gets easier saying goodbye to a parent. It’s been three years since my mom passed away. Losing a parent at the age that I did forced me to grow up quicker than I had expected to, forcing me to make big decisions without much guidance. I’ve accomplished a lot since she’s been gone and I know she would be so proud of me. I married my beautiful wife, Lexi, whom I know she would love and adore. They share so many qualities and Lexi makes me the happiest I’ve ever been. I wish I could have told my mom about her when I first met her. I also kept playing basketball after she died. For a while I didn’t know what I was doing, but I’ve met so many people and accomplished some amazing things as a team. Although this journey has been hard, I’m not going to let it stop me from living my life to the fullest. I won’t take this life for granted, I’ll seize every opportunity and make the most of it.
