My newly curated exhibition “Zevs: New Works” 6 Dec - 1 Feb @watowagallery in Tokyo.
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
I don’t really post often on socials, but tomorrow we are marking the end of the exhibition I curated of @z__e__v__s ‘s (Aguirre Schwarz) new works. It was wonderful working with him for the last two years in the run up to the exhibition, and with the amazing Taka Komatsu at @watowagallery. Before this exhibition, the last time Zevs exhibited in Japan was over a decade ago in an installation I featured at The Container. It is a privilege to work with him again, and to showcase paintings that were never shown anywhere else in the world. If you haven’t had a chance to see his exhibition already, please come to the closing party tomorrow. It would be wonderful to welcome you ❤️. taken in Watowa gallery by @the.container.tokyo

In memory of Rutherford Chang. From our exhibition in 2016 “Game Boy Tetris” where we screened back-to-back 1,700 videos of him playing Tetris in his New York flat in China Town, to become the world’s second place champion.
