This was my first test knit and I really appreciated the opportunity! @knit.alee did such a good job with the design and construction of the bag!! #legumetote

This one is the Garbanzo size.
I did two pockets on the outside and then two smaller ones on the inside for the phone and calendar.

Finally pictures! I have been part of the test knit group for the #pinstripetanktop by the amazing Tatjana @ohwhata.knit

I was already done in June and wore it often this summer. The yarn is 50% Yak and 50% Silk, it's called SilYa and you can find it @stricken_ohne_naht
It feels kinda woolen and I wasn't sure if it's too warm for summer, but it's not! The yarn is quite temperature regulating.

I have the yarn for the second one (Pure Silke by Knitting for olive) already and I might actually knit some more, cause I feel it's the perfect summer top for me!

We could do a little KAL next spring, let's say April?

I am knitting a second pair of socks for my dear partner. The first pair was in the same color combination, just the other way round.

I've tried different heel options over the years, but I always come back to the heart heel. And doesn't it look absolutely beautiful when it's reinforced? So crisp!

I know a lot of people don't like to knit with DPNs (Nadelspiel), but I love the geometry and aesthetic of the tiny wooden 2,5mm needles.
Maybe because when I learned to knit as a kid, my mum introduced me to these, when I wanted to knit hats. So using DPNs feels very familiar and the kid in me can still connect to the excitement of learning the magic of knitting with 5 wooden sticks. I mean how cool is that?!

The #chantillyscarf by @ruiyamamuro was my first lace pattern and I didn't plan on loving it so much 🩵

It's knitted in Cotton Merino from @knittingforolive
Such a nice yarn and it worked really well for this pattern. I think I'll do another one in their Pure Silk for summer. You need less than 50g for this scarf.

In February when it was still cold and dark, I knit this #sophiehood for a dear friend and it was so cosy and warm, I kinda wanted to keep it for myself ;)
But I gifted it wholeheartedly 🤍

I am currently knitting a simple but beautiful hat in a rich, cosy, dark brown. It will hopefully go with everything I wear this winter...

I use this handmade bowl as a little project place. I found it at an open workshop last year and enjoy it very much.

Yarn: Nurture in 'Cinder' by @woollentwine
It's a natural finnish yarn, so soft but the right amount of rustic feel to it.

While knitting my #finestkindsweater, some sporty socks for my partner and a warm cosy winter hat, I also quickly knit this scarf for a dear friend. He chose the yarn (Lana Grossa, LandLust Soft Tweed 90) in these beautiful autumn colors!
It's half fishermen's rib and no specific pattern, I just started knitting and followed the rhythm of the stitches which was really soothing.

Today's harvest has such a vibrant color combination.
This is what a warm sunny September afternoon feels like to me.

Sweet peppers are 'Lady Lou' and 'Flynn'. The squash is 'Green Hokkaido' and 'Sweet dumpling'. All of them are heirloom varieties from @bingenheimersaatgut

I've grown my own edamame soy beans!! They taste amazingly good. Fresh and nourishing. If you ask me what the color green tastes like, my answer would be EDAMAME 🫛
