Okay, before anybody starts judging me, just hear me out. 😂 I tried Mama Lyd’s chocolate cake using BLACK BEANS. Yes, actual black beans. 🫘🍫

I know it sounds crazy, but sometimes you gotta experiment in the kitchen! Would y’all try this or absolutely not? 😭😂 #bakersofinstagram #blackbeanchocolatecake #blackbeans #chocolate #fiber by @the.domoarchives

Date night at home but neither one of us knows how to be normal about food 😂🍕 I made a lamb pizza, he turned his leftover tomahawk into a pizza…because apparently everything is a competition in this house. 10/10 would take pizza night too far again. #DateNightIdeas #PizzaNight #HomemadePizza #CouplesDateNight #foodreels by @the.domoarchives

Okay sooooo I’ve been working on something 🥹🖤

Meet Baldwin Park Holdings.

What started as conversations between me and my cousins about home, community, and the things we wish existed here has officially turned into something real. And after entirely too many hours of me fighting with this damn website 😂, we are LIVE.

This is only the beginning. We have a lot planned, and I’m so excited for y’all to finally see what we’ve been building. 🖤✨

Creating Pathways. Inspiring Excellence. Leaving a Legacy.

If you told me I would have to make this post today i would've told you that was a cruel joke but here I am. In the very early hours of the morning we had to let our Popo go. I am heartbroken beyond words and I'm going to miss my furry baby. He was the best. All he wanted you to do is feed him and pet him. Idk how I'm going to get over this. My baby. Mommy is going to miss you forever and i will NEVER forget you. My Popo Wopo. I thought we had longer. I wish we had longer. I'd give anything for longer. Have fun with your buddy Leo. Rip my baby. I started this degree in 2023. If I’m being honest, I don’t even think I took it seriously at first. It was just… something to do.
Somewhere along the way, it became so much more. There were days I questioned myself. Days I procrastinated. Days I wanted to quit. Days anxiety convinced me I wasn’t capable. But every paper, every revision, every late night, every “Task Returned,” every small win kept pushing me forward. I didn’t even want to tell anyone because I was afraid I’d quit.

Today, I can finally say:
I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Public Health. 🎓🤍

This degree means more than a title. It represents discipline, growth, resilience, and proving to myself that I finish what I start.

Two bachelor’s degrees before 30.

Here’s to whatever comes next. ❤️ by @the.domoarchives

A major milestone has been reached: 30.

We like to joke that we grew up together, but honestly, that’s an understatement. We’ve been together since we were 19, and I’ve had the privilege of witnessing and being part of every season of your life since then.

I could not be more proud of the man you’ve become and continue to become. Your intelligence, your confidence, your presence, your resilience. All of it. Life has tried to knock you down many times, some by your own doing and some not, but no matter what, I’ve watched you rise every single time.

There is something so sacred about truly knowing someone. Not just the polished parts, but the human parts too. And still being able to look at them with admiration, grace, and love. That has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

Your dad would not only be proud, he’d be overjoyed by the man you turned out to be.

I pray you have many more decades of laughter, brilliance, and purpose ahead of you.

Happy 30th Birthday 🤍 @royal_melanin by @the.domoarchives
