🌴 BALI FAMILY STAY 🌴

If you have younger one’s and plan on not leaving the hotel because of convenience BUT you also want to have that Bali experience, then I would highly highly recommend this place.

It has so much for the kid’s to do and the service as well as facilities are fantastic.

Low prep idea that it’s engaging and practical?

I’ve got you!

I’ve done this one with all my kids and it’s still a winner, you can’t go wrong with muffin tin activities, this is easily accessible, low prep and engaging for little ones to learn and play.

Simple letter identification focusing on three letters to match and recognise using our @connetix_tiles

The marker’s I use to write on the tiles are life of colour pens from @littletoytribe

KID FRIENDLY STAY

I thought I’d share this super kid friendly stay, just a two day getaway just a little over an hour from Sydney. I’m always on the hunt for practical little getaway’s that don’t require long drive’s with little kid’s😂

We personally enjoyed this stay and the kid’s loved it even more.

This is the kind of play we love! Easy to set up, easy to adapt & of course easy to repeat 🙌

Don’t overthink it. Keep it simple with low prep and offer children a chance to explore early numeracy concepts in playful, hands-on ways 🌈

MINIMAL SETUP but bigger engagement. Simple set up with minimal resource’s that can be easily modified to suit your child’s interest’s.

Miss 3 loved this simple letter activity where we also started to look at the individual sound’s of the letter’s when she pulled them out of the tub.

PLAYDOUGH FOR BEGINNERS

A simple way to introduce play dough to little one’s.

I’ve loved the muffin tin method because it’s just more visually engaging to them.

Also, I included some simple resource’s like the sensory tactile shell’s which also create pattern’s when used with play dough as well as larger blocks which is also a great tool for stamping with play dough.

I would also recommend using home made play dough that is more taste safe just in case of any accidental mouthing while playing.

The home made play dough recipe I use is:

💛 1 cup flour
💛 1/2 cup table salt
💛 2 tbsp cream of tartar
💛 1 tbsp oil
💛 1 cup boiling water
💛 Food colouring
💛 Combine boiling water and food colouring together then add to dry ingredients

My 1.5 year old loved this simple play dough invitation💛

POM POM STICK

Set this super simple fine motor and sticky activity for Mr 1.5 near the kitchen while I was prepping a couple of thing’s as he wanted to be near me but I also needed some prep time.

He enjoyed exploring the pom pom’s as well as sticking and pulling them off.

All you need is:
