My new #cowboyskills performance character promo!
Was really lucky to have @e.martincochingco behind the camera on this one with his eye for dynamic camera movement and weapons work.
Video Edit by me.

#throwback to this awesome collaboration with @kumafilms back in 2020.
This original edit has a few different shots, including more #slowmo FOOT-age.
Still really proud of this one, and grateful to have had the opportunity to work with these amazingly talented brothers/ fantastic humans.
Hope you enjoy!

Thank you to the @canada.council for #bringingtheartstolife and supporting this collaborative art project of Research and Creation with @kiwamissimo

What an incredible experience traveling to Japan for the first time to explore my heritage as a Japanese Canadian artist.
Months of planning, and two weeks of immersing myself in Japanese culture with world renowned fire performance artist Kiwamu Miyakubo.
We skill shared, finished constructing specially designed fire katanas, collaborated on choreography, scouted locations, acquired costuming; all culminating in this final video project.
(which then took me months to get around to editing, and then almost a year in limbo because I didn't feel confident in color correction and noise reduction related to using footage from multiple different cameras/settings)

Such a beautiful, artistic festival. Had so much fun cruising around with @the.flowarrior dancing, entertaining and fun-police arresting people 👮🤣

Little edit of #canadaday gig 1 of 2 in #stpaul Alberta.
Song is fitting, cause I have had no days off since the 23rd and won't until the 14th.
This summer/fall is crazy busy!

Had alot of fun entertaining families and kids in st Paul's and Bonnyville today though.
Not seen in video is all the joy being the Segway bubble cowboy. 🤠
Pretty sweet thing to get paid for, grateful to have a job that is creative, and involves spreading joy and inspiration. 🙏😊

Now back to Calgary tomorrow for the Stampede show run with Cirque Nuit! by @the.flowarrior
