4 reasons you aren’t retaining length with protective styles 🤎

I’m a BIG fan of Yaki Straight, Kinky Straight, Burmese Curly & Kinky Curly bundles 🤎

When choosing bundles, your natural hair texture matters! The goal is for the bundles to blend seamlessly with your leave-out and overall texture.

✨ If you have fine hair, Body Wave can work beautifully because your natural hair can blend more easily with the softer texture.

For everyone else, especially if you have thicker or more textured natural hair, I recommend choosing thicker or more textured bundles so your leave-out doesn’t look noticeably different from the extensions.

The right bundle texture = a more seamless, natural-looking install. 🤎

A little weekend reset 🤎🌊

If you only know me as The Fro Protector, you probably see the hair, the transformations, the long days behind the chair and the finished styles… but there’s a whole life happening outside of the salon too.

This weekend I got to step away from the chair, spend time with my girls, laugh with my friends, eat good, make memories and just be present.

Being a hairstylist is a huge part of who I am, but it’s not ALL of me. I’m a mom, a friend, a woman building a business, and a girl who needs a beach day every now and then 😂

I’m learning that sharing those little pieces of my life makes this space feel more like a community instead of just a hair page.

THICKEST HAIR I’VE EVER DONE — PT. 2 😭🤎

Okay y’all… we finally made it to Part 2! 😂🤎 And let me just say, this service was WORK. Her hair was so incredibly thick that it added about 1.5 HOURS to the service, but the finished look made every minute worth it!

Also, please forgive the background noise 😭 I was trying my BEST to get this video out today, and this was honestly the best time I had to get it done. Content creator life is not always quiet and aesthetic 😂

BUT THE BEST PART?! She absolutely LOVED her twists! 🥹🤎 She told me she trusts me with her hair and that she’ll definitely be back — and that kind of feedback means EVERYTHING to me.

Thick hair, tender hair, long appointments… whatever the challenge is, I’m always going to make sure your hair is treated with care. 🤎
