We had a little fun at @the.globe_ ! An afternoon of playing around with different lighting setups, experimenting and seeing what we could create. I'm hoping to make more room for personal projects like this. It's easy to get caught up in the business of creating, meeting deadlines and serving clients that we sometimes forget why we started in the first place. I don't want to lose that joy and curiosity that got me into photography. To @prettyy_obsessed and @hairvolver , thank you for indulging my last-minute ideas. Had so much fun creating with you both! Would you like to see how we played around with the different lighting setups? Assistants: @kaydee_studioz @visuals_by_fo by @the.globe_
A day in my life as a photographer 📸 The team was away, so I ran things solo at the studio yesterday. From packing photobooks and frames for @weddingsbyjb_afam to getting some editing done. We also kicked off onboarding for @the.globe_ Creative Academy this week, and yesterday, we met our students joining us from the UK! Really excited about the journey ahead and being part of their growth as creatives❤️ by @the.globe_

All I did was pick up a camera! So much I want. But then again, so much I already have. God has been faithful & I'm grateful. Sometimes, we get so overwhelmed by how far we still have to go that we forget to take the next step right in front of us. You don't have to have it all figured out. You don't need to see the entire journey before you begin. You just have to be willing to take that first step and trust God with the rest. So, wherever you are in your photography journey, don't let the distance between where you are and where you want to be stop you from starting. Less than 48 hours until applications close for @the.globe_ Creative Academy by JB Afam. If you've been waiting for a sign to take that next step, this is it.
