Doose & Seunla || The Joining💍 To the kind of love that makes forever feel like just the beginning. I witnessed not only in their vows, but in the strength of a father walking his daughter into a new chapter, and the quiet tenderness of a mother guiding her son to his forever. Moments like these remind me why love is the most powerful story to tell. If you’re planning your wedding and want photographs that hold not just your love, but the joy, warmth, and presence of everyone who matters to you, I’d love to tell your story. Bookings are still open for the rest of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026. A moving woman! A woman at rest will remain at rest until she is moved by a force greater than her comfort. The force moving this woman is impact! by @jb_afam

We had a little fun at @the.globe_ ! An afternoon of playing around with different lighting setups, experimenting and seeing what we could create. I'm hoping to make more room for personal projects like this. It's easy to get caught up in the business of creating, meeting deadlines and serving clients that we sometimes forget why we started in the first place. I don't want to lose that joy and curiosity that got me into photography. To @prettyy_obsessed and @hairvolver , thank you for indulging my last-minute ideas. Had so much fun creating with you both! Would you like to see how we played around with the different lighting setups? Assistants: @kaydee_studioz @visuals_by_fo by @jb_afam
A day in my life as a photographer 📸 The team was away, so I ran things solo at the studio yesterday. From packing photobooks and frames for @weddingsbyjb_afam to getting some editing done. We also kicked off onboarding for @the.globe_ Creative Academy this week, and yesterday, we met our students joining us from the UK! Really excited about the journey ahead and being part of their growth as creatives❤️ by @jb_afam
All I did was pick up a camera! So much I want. But then again, so much I already have. God has been faithful & I'm grateful. Sometimes, we get so overwhelmed by how far we still have to go that we forget to take the next step right in front of us. You don't have to have it all figured out. You don't need to see the entire journey before you begin. You just have to be willing to take that first step and trust God with the rest. So, wherever you are in your photography journey, don't let the distance between where you are and where you want to be stop you from starting. Less than 48 hours until applications close for @the.globe_ Creative Academy by JB Afam. If you've been waiting for a sign to take that next step, this is it. Apply through the link in bio. 🤍 by @jb_afam
This morning on Hallelujah Challenge, I received a prophecy that left me so reassured about the vision God has given me for The Globe Creative Academy. 🤍 My friend called me past 1 a.m. to tell me they were prophesying for me, and they specifically called out my brand name @the.globe_ It was such a beautiful reminder that God is in the details and that He knows the lives this Academy will transform. Seeing the vision He placed in my heart become a reality is so reassuring. 🥹 Congratulations to everyone who has signed up to be part of the pioneer set of The Globe Creative Academy! ❤️ Applications are still open until October 25th. There’s still time to join us! by @jb_afam
One year ago, I graduated from Follow the Light. 🤍 For two whole years, I looked forward to this experience, and when the opportunity came, making the decision wasn't easy. But I'm so grateful I did. I remember Mrs. Oge @7venshades_photography saying to me after her session with us. “Doubt yourself but trust God. Run JB, run like your life depends on it.” Ma, I don't know if you realise how much I needed to hear those words at the time, but I carried them with me. Immediately after the class, I started looking for a studio space. Less than a year later, we have @the.globe_ , and we're now teaching and training other creatives through The Globe Creative Academy. Looking back at all that has happened, and all the decisions I've found the courage to make since then, I'm humbled by how God has led me. Thank you, Uncle H @bighstudios , for the experience and for creating the space for moments like this. It's one thing to see what could be; it's another to hear the Holy Spirit say, “Go ahead,” and have the grace to move. One year later, I'm still so helped by God. ❤️ by @jb_afam
