📍Yaletown Roundhouse, Vancouver

Another afternoon of plein air art with @usk.vancouver
Factoring in weather, moving subjects, and time restraints, these meet ups are such a different way of painting compared to at home in a controlled environment.

📍VanDusen Botanical Garden, Vancouver

Another wonderful afternoon with @usk.vancouver meet up group. Each time we are given 2.5 hrs, and it sounds so long but it really isn’t at all. So fun to play and create ✨

📍Kitsilano Beach

Repainted the lifeguard beach scene in loose watercolor. Adding the landscape and other subjects added so much life to the scene and I learned so much about negative space. Really love being able to compare the two pieces to see improvements ☺️

A birthday love note to my Sister in law ♥️

Definitely an emotional piece painting her angel dog, Eggy🪽🐾

I was in Hong Kong at the time, when my husband notified me of her passing. Felt so emotional, sitting in a dim sum restaurant abroad with colleagues. Being half way across the world unable to physically be there was so tough.

Missing her a little extra today ♥️🐾

So happy the weather cooperated today. Second time with urban sketchers meet up vancouver 🎨

The lifeguard swapped three times during my plein air art session lol. Did my best and trying to saturate more.

Can’t believe this buddy turns 16 in less than 2 months. How lucky am I to be able to share so much of life with you 🥰
