Back when I was fighting @the.king.g_ and I were always travelling for fights. At the time, we didn’t have the same opportunities to compete in Canada, so a lot of our biggest experiences came from going into someone else’s hometown, fighting their guy, and sometimes feeling like the whole crowd was against you 😂

Those trips gave me some of the best memories of my fighting career. Different cities, different countries, tough fights, and experiences I still cherish today.

Now I get the chance to pass that on to the next generation.

This past weekend in Mexico was about more than just the fights. It was about giving my fighters the chance to experience something bigger, create memories together, and grow through the journey.

Amazing memories were made with the team this weekend, and I want to keep creating opportunities like this for the next generation of fighters 🥊

Every Tuesday at 10:30 AM, we’re fortunate to have Kru Yai King G @the.king.g_ come out to Elite Fight Club @elitefightclub.ca to mentor Kru Chris @theprofessor_elite and work with our fighters, Anthony “The Bulgar” Georgieff @thebulgar_elite and up-and-coming fighter Denys.

After more than 20 years in Muay Thai, I still believe one of the most important things a coach can do is remain a student. There is always another detail to improve, another perspective to understand and more knowledge to pass down to the next generation.

Every Tuesday at 10:30. The work continues.

RESPECT IS EARNED. GRATITUDE IS FREE. LEGACY IS BUILT.
