Choosing good literature is not an easy task. There are many excellent bookshops around, however most of them is inundated with books that are dumbed down, lacking coherent sentences or are, frankly vulgar.

I hope you are finding this quick little guide a help on your journey of raising lifetime readers for enjoyment.

Courage, dear heart the good ones are still out there, waiting for your child to fall in love with them

@ct_mag Christianity Today's annual book award and the @thegospelcoalition Gospel Coalition's award is also an excellent place to look for new releases

Hi Friends, my name is Agnes and welcome to Kingdom Library!

⭐I am so happy and honoured that you choose to visit this space, and I would like to introduce myself and tell a little bit about what you will see In my corner of the web.

⭐I am a lover of books and stories, a follower of Jesus, wife to Richard and a homeschool mom of my four delightfully amazing children. I believe in the transformative power of stories and literature and I curate this page to tell you about all the wonderful children's books that come my way. I share book reviews, book recommendations and homeschool related posts. My mission with Kingdom Library is to empower parents and educators to choose literature that will shape their children's moral and spiritual imagination for the kingdom.

⭐ Thank you for checking in, I am glad you are here.
Happy Reading 😊

"It takes courage to see that leaving all the world behind, I will still carry with myself my worst enemy. It takes radical honesty and quite considerable pain to know my own raw and ugly heart, grappling unflinchingly with my own inclinations toward selfishness and cruelty. "

If you loved Kingdom Library, I am so grateful for your support in this space.

I decided to move my content to Substack, which will be slightly different from what I've been doing here so far, but I am beyond excited to share things in that new space I am excited about.

I am planning a monthly newsletter, where I share children's book recommendations, among other things bookish.

I really hope to see you all there! by @the.kingdom.library

💔It's not me, Instagram, it's you.

After much consideration, I decided to break up with you. I loved you, when we were both young and innocent, and connection seemed joyful and genuine. I still cherish those memories.

But really the algorithm ruined it for us. I hate to break it to you, but you have boundary issues. You demand more and more of my time, and loved ones in exchange for a platform. I don't know if we can be friends anymore.

Dear friends of Kingdom Library a huge thank you for your support through the years, you are the best. While this is all very tongue-in-cheek, I honestly think it's time to move my content to another platform.

I will share about literature, film, faith and the difficult soul work of becoming human, and of course children's books.

Find my Substack handle in my bio, and once again you are the best! by @the.kingdom.library
