Here discussing with my Beautiful partner Chichi how we can introduce this sacred monthly portal to our children so that they may learn the fine art of practising to honour women as part of their fluency. Chichi and I have been best friends for 19 years and partners for 15 years. Our son is now six and already has such a tender attention to his mother when she’s bleeding. I am learning how to best honour my partner. In an imbalanced masculine system, we must hear the feminine. Each Lutheal period is a portal into the secrets of the universe, the womb being a fractal of the universe, both cradles of creation. In the week leading up to the bleed, the veil thins, and the secrets reveal themselves. Are we as partners able to lower our muscle tone and receive the secrets, even if they challenge our perception of things? Can we meet the demands made of us and step up, without compromising our sense of self-worth? In this time, we men so often fall when we are asked to balance, become rigid when we are asked to flex. Just saw Manosphere film, which seems to be based on owning women. The only way out of this mess is us men finding a way to receive the voice of the womb in its truest, fiercest form. For humanity to find balance, we have to bring the oppressed voice of the womb back online.. and it is the job of the truly powerful men to receive this voice that has been silenced for 6,000 years and resource himself so that he doesn’t have to get defensive. • A powerful moment for me from @medicinefestival • I was watching @the.loving.collaborative at the HeartWood stage with some beautiful music.. they sang two songs that day which ripped me open, out the blue. I’d been having an incredible day (incredible festival) but they sang two songs in particular which done something to my body.. The first song was ‘Track Your Woman’s Bleed’ which got me going. I didn’t know why in the moment, but I felt the emotion arise in my body and allowed it as best as i could. The second was a song called ‘Foreskin’ paired with a share about the artists experience with being cut at birth and the trauma that created for him. In that moment I felt so much collective pain. I didn’t understand it, but I knew I didn’t need to. It was just energy in the collective that perhaps hadn’t had the chance to be felt. And it was arising within me, so I allowed it and had a beautiful emotional release. After my emotions being severed from the brain injury in 2022, it took a lot of work to reconnect with them.. so any time my body wants to release something, I simply move out the way and allow it. We are cultivating the ALLOPARENTS. We learnt the term Alloparent from @michaeleen.doucleff ‘s book “Hunt, Gather, Parent”. An Alloparent is a “comadre/copadre/co-parent who isn’t necessarily biologically related to your child. And when we cultivate a situation in our lives where humans are once again raised with Alloparents, everything’s gonna change for the better: It’s a deep prayer and a wish that I feel so many families connect to, in the isolated family unit system that we predominantly operate in in this current time. A movement back to tribe 🔥 and a movement back to community 🌍 And this is a deep prayer and a wish that we are birthing, that’s been unfolding in such a magical way with the Kind Family Gathering, with Georgiana, George, and Rise, from Kind Matters 💫 And here we are, singing the song on a magical piece of land 🎶🌾 that we feel could be the community land, the village, that we all so deeply yearn and dream for. A few dream of the village 🏡 A few dream of alloparents for your children 👨‍ A few dream of a safe haven, where you grow your own food 🌱 and live off the systems that we are also dependent on.
