The end of such a beautiful era.

Over two years ago, when we made the decision that we would start shutting down our business, it was honestly, one of the hardest decisions we had to make, but ultimately, the absolute right one for us.

Our business allowed us to experience & grow so much more than we could have ever imagined; the friendships we made, the people whose lives we were able to touch & document in such an intimate, special, one of a kind way, the couples, their family members, their friends, our vendor community, the places we were able to go to because of our crazy and gorgeous jobs, the laughter we shared, the food we ate, we are so fucking lucky, that this was our lives for so long.

Thank you to each & every single one of you who have cheered us on all these years, who have supported us, who have chosen us, who have laughed with us, participated in a group hug, sent billions of emails with, had a drink with, danced with us, who let us in.

You know those moments in your life where while it's happening you already miss it?

What a joy & honour to have been able to capture such a beautiful, raw and real experience for these two, on one of the most special days of their relationship together.

Private vows nestled in the rain forest, hearing the bikes chirp as the waves crashed down during their intimate 18 person ceremony, wine glasses clinking at their long table dinner in the wine cellar of the unbelievably beautiful Wickaninnish Inn surrounded by candlelight. Last but not least, riding bikes along the beach, barefoot, at sunset, on their wedding night.

To witness pure, unfiltered love and happiness, is such a privilege, and we are forever thankful for the opportunity to have done so. taken in Wickaninnish Inn by @the.macleans

Whatta wedding, what a couple, what a vibe.

It's always such a freaking honour when previous couples of ours, like Regan and Florence, book us for another session after their wedding I'm heading out later this week to shoot these two and their almost 1 year old, and it's just giving allll of the baby fever feels & so much joy! taken in Rowena's Inn On The River, Harrison Mills by @the.macleans

As we grow older, there's this thing about time moving really really fast, like, uncontrollably fast. One day we're playing grounders and the next we're paying mortgages and taxes.

When your little, time moves slow. Summer breaks stretch on forever. There's an infinite amount of rounds of hide-and-seek, your parents can cure any ache or pain, and the biggest question of the day: do I eat a ham & cheese sandwich or pb&j?

Lately, I’ve been thinking about how precious these little moments are. Time may move quickly, but we still get to choose what we fill it with. Make time for the people you love, make memories, take the silly photo, get in that photo even if you don't feel 110% confident, trust me, one day they're going to look back on it and cherish it so much. taken in Abbotsford, British Columbia by @the.macleans
