I went outside of my comfort zone yesterday and attended the @evokedotie awards.
And ended up winning life coach of the year🏆
To say I'm delighted is an understatement☺️

For the past 6years I've been growing my business alongside working, studying and growing my family😅
It hasn't always been easy (as women in business already know!) But this is my passion, something I absolutely adore doing and to have this recognition means the world to me. ( It's very emotional 😅)

The cherry on top of yesterday was being with some amazing women. @elmacarewcoaching encouraged me to go, and was the best person to spend the day with. Honestly would have been lost without her.
I sat at a table full of fantastic women, everyone supporting each other.

@ktherapyireland kept me entertained as I raced for the train home and was such a fab soul.

@de_frein was so supportive and just a pleasure to connect with.

I got to meet the fabulous @the_positive_habit_ after years of following her and buying her books!

And I had @ciaraelliott sorting me out with how to stand for pictures 😅
Although it was completely outside of my comfort zone, I had the best day, with some amazing people and it was just a gorgeous experience (apart from racing for the train😂)

Thank you to everyone for all of your lovely words, honestly I'm blown away with all of the love and support 😭

Did you start the year promising yourself that you would start doing things differently in 2026 because you knew something had to change???❓

I hear so many women telling me they burnt out at Christmas and needed to take extra time off work just to recover.
They promise to make those changes, but the truth is, very few actually take the steps needed to make and sustain that change they've been craving and end up burning out within the year again.

✨ Imagine actually taking action and going into 2027 feeling supported, guided and held accountable to actually make the changes you desperately know you need.....

💥Thats the plan for the ladies joining the Take Back Program 🙌🏼

By the end of the 4months together:
✨They will feel more in control of your days and weeks💪🏼
✨They will feel more confident in setting those boundaries at work, pushing back and more importantly ...
✨They will gain their time and energy back and make time for themselves
✨They will have stepped into the leader they want to be at work, and set the tone for how they want to be treated.
✨ They will be more intentional with their days/weeks instead of on autopilot
✨ They will be stepping into 2027 taking back control of their lives again 🙌🏼

Want to join them???

💥There are limited spaces available and the early bird offer ends in 3days.

💪🏼Time to stop letting work take over your life and start taking back control again.

⚠️ Trigger warning ......You might not like what you hear in this post🫣

I blamed work for me burning out 🔥

For always asking if I could take on me,
For me being so busy and exhausted
For me skipping my exercise class because I was too tired and needed to catch up on more work.

The truth here is that I was the one to blame.
I wanted to please everyone all of the time, which meant I never said no to work requests, never pushed back, was always available to everyone.

It was my people pleasing that led to me having stress headaches, feeling dizzy and feeling just so numb from exhaustion.........not necessarily works fault. My own fear of what others might think of me, or if they think I'm not good enough for the role.

Sometimes it's easier to blame the situation instead of looking inwards and seeing what actually led to that situation 🫠

These days I'm doing things differently 🙌🏼 and even better, now I get to support women who've had the same realisation as me and support them to take back control again 💪🏼

Tell me 👇🏼 if you've burnt out in the past, what was the reason?

Have you ever felt the same?
Worried to say no or push back at work for fear of what others might think of you?

My client was nervous that putting boundaries in place with her team would change how people saw her as a leader.

But do you know what she's discovered?
✅She's delegating more, protecting her time and her team are recognising the difference in her growth and ability to lead.

Setting boundaries hasn't made her a worse leader.
It's helping her become a stronger one💪🏼

You don't have to sacrifice your own wellbeing to be a good team leader.
Inside my Take Back Program, I help professional women make these changes in real life, with the tools, support and accountability to put them into practice and stop from burning out again.

If you're the woman everyone relies on, but you're exhausted from carrying it all, let's change that.
DM me TAKE BACK and let's chat about how we can help you lead well without burning yourself out in the process. ❤️

Just because burnout isn't classified as an illness doesn't mean it can't leave you physically unwell.
I know, because I've been there myself.

When I burnt out, I experienced headaches, dizziness, shortness of breath and heart palpitations.

And I've worked with clients experiencing a whole range of physical symptoms as a result of prolonged stress.

But do you know what we often do?
We play it down.
We tell ourselves we should be able to handle it all. We say we'll be grand, that we just need to cop on and get through this busy spell.

So we keep pushing, even when our bodies are practically screaming at us to slow down.
We've become so used to functioning under pressure that we can mistake being able to push through for being okay.

I honestly think we need to start treating stress a bit like we would the flu.
You wouldn't ignore a fever, keep going at full speed and expect your body to just get on with it indefinitely.
So why do we ignore the warning signs of stress until we're completely running on empty?

Give yourself permission to slow down.
Your body shouldn't have to force you to stop before you finally start listening.

Drop me a ❤️ below if you agree 😊

When I work with my clients, it is like having this cuppa tea and chatting honestly with them☕ while also getting them to take action to take back control again.
Ill be gentle, but I'll also kick you into action, because you absolutely deserve to feel good and feel like you again.

Burn out 🔥 can be scary, I know my clients are terrified of going back to that place again, and sometimes, recovery can be hard to navigate on your own.

I created my TAKE BACK framework based on my own burnout experience, and my clients.
All different stories, but the same things coming up time and time again.
1. Not managing the daily stress so it keeps building up.
2. Zero boundaries, always available to everyone, taking on too much, struggling to say no, can't commit to your own boundaries 🫣
3. At the root of it all, are beliefs making you think you always need to prove your worth, need to be available and please everyone else.

This ☝🏼 is what I work on with my professional burnt out ladies in the TAKE BACK PROGRAM. Helping them to TAKE BACK CONTROL 💪🏼 again.

Enrollment is open to join the next round, with a special early bird offer and we'll have a real tea together 😉

Ever experience that grief after burning out?💔
When you realise how much of your life you've missed out on while you were busy trying to keep up at work.
The evenings you were physically at home but your head still in the office.
The weekends you spent catching up instead of enjoying the two days you were supposed to be off.
You miss your energy, your life, the old you.
I see this with my clients and I want you to know that it's possible to take back control again like my clients have💪🏼
Let this grief remind you what really matters to you and use it to move you forward, one small step at a time.
💫Starting with the things that make you feel good...what are they? The things that light you up? What small change are you going to commit to?

And if you're really struggling at the moment to stay committed to creating that change, my TAKE BACK PROGRAM is starting soon.
It's for the busy professional woman looking to take back control of her life again.
DM me "Take Back" for more details.

Have you ever promised yourself that things would be different this time, only to find yourself slipping back into the same old patterns?

You know you need to slow down. You know you need boundaries. But when people need you, you find yourself saying yes and putting yourself last all over again.

And before you know it, you're right back where you promised yourself you'd never be.
This is why I do the work I do.

Because knowing what needs to change is one thing. Having the support, tools and accountability to actually make those changes is another.

If this resonates with you, my Take Back Program is here to help you make those changes, one small, sustainable step at a time.

✨ Early bird offer is now open!
DM me TAKE BACK and let's chat about how I can support you.

You know the saying...
"Nothing changes if nothing changes".
And let me tell you as someone who has burnt out twice, the second time definitely hits harder and is harder to come back from.

So if you're currently burnt out 🔥 do this before going back to work:
1️⃣Rest. Properly!! Not just on the couch. Try and bring some joy back into your life too.

2️⃣ Reflect- What got you to this point? People pleasing, late nights, skipping lunch, being available all of the time. Write it down.

3️⃣ Reassess - Now make a plan. What do you need to do to stop this from happening again?

If you find you need support with moving forward then DM me "support" and let's chat more.

If you've burnt out before, what's helped you?👇🏼

Now I'm a stress and burnout coach, but before I ever became one, I was a woman who burned out twice🫣

And that experience led me on a journey that completely changed how I live, how I work, and how I look after myself.

Today, I get to work with busy professional women, helping them take back control of their time, energy and lives again.
And I do this as someone who's been there. Someone who knows what it's like to keep pushing, to struggle to say no, and to put everyone else's needs ahead of her own.
So here are 5 things I had to learn the hard way…
1️⃣ You can be the person everyone relies on, who looks like she has her 💩 together and still be falling apart behind the scenes (most of the women I work with are)
2️⃣ Saying yes to everyone else can mean repeatedly letting yourself down. Always putting everyone else ahead of yourself.
3️⃣ Just because you CAN handle more doesn't mean you SHOULD have to. You do have a breaking point and it will come over time. Know your limits.
4️⃣ You can't recover from burnout if you keep living in the same way that led you there. This is why I burnt out twice, nothing changed the first time.
5️⃣ Disappointing someone else is sometimes the price of no longer abandoning yourself. The hardest lesson was learning to be ok with saying no.

I didn't learn these lessons overnight. Some of them were VERY uncomfortable. But they changed everything for me.
And they're a huge part of why I do the work I do today.
Because you shouldn't have to lose yourself to be good at your job, a good mum, a good partner or a good friend. ❤️
I'm curious… which of these 5 lessons resonates with you most?
Drop the number in the comments below. I'd love to hear from you.
And remember, you can care deeply about everyone else without sacrificing yourself in the process.
