Our system is broken, but there is a way out of it. 👏🌱

The past few weeks have been filled with fear. 😨

As this journey is becoming realer and realer (we’ve been connecting with so many orgs owners around the world, finding ways to promote them on the Landscape on SeedTree, we’ve reached 100 organisations on it in less than 15 days of launching, we’ve started event collaborations for 2026, and so on and so forth), fear has been a dominant thought in my mind.

Building SeedTree means doing things I’ve never done before and financially investing in a business model that requires long-term community power and building everything from the ground up.

But the more I sit with it, the more I realise: fear is the exact opposite direction away from LOVE. And SeedTree, at its core, is my practice of walking back to love. Back to connection. Back to nature, to each other, to what matters.

If you’ve been feeling fear lately too, you’re not alone. As cheesy as it may sound to some people out there, let this be our reminder: we don’t have to be fearless to keep going, but we just have to keep choosing love, one step at a time. 💛

Global Peace Activation [project in motion] 🌸

This morning a local landholder in the Northern Rivers offered their property for our gathering on the 8th of August (Lion’s Gate Portal for those of you who are into numerology like us). A global peace activation + intentional tree planting, right here.

Having a vision is one thing, but carrying it through into a tangible event with our Northern Rivers community still feels mind-boggling at this stage. Collaborators showing up from around the world. Pathways opening.

Feelings used to be something we were running from.

Now they feel like information. Energy that needs to be met, honoured, and moved through.

Building @seedtree.earth, we've absolutely noticed it: what we bring into the work comes back. Drop into fear or scarcity and everything slows. Show up open and expanded and things move. We've lived this enough times now to trust it.

Finding our dynamics as we build SeedTree has been one of the biggest lessons of being co-founders. 🤝

Creating side-by-side (in business and in life) constantly reminds us how differently we’re wired, and how much growth comes from learning each other’s communication styles, stretching our tolerance, and meeting in the middle.

It’s a privilege to do this together. We’re staying curious, creative, problem-solving, and forward-looking. And we’ll keep sharing what we learn along the way.

This was actually filmed a few weeks ago, when Rachael and Moss joined Jessica Friday (@fridayseconomics) for a webinar all about building a new economy, one that puts our collective wellbeing back at the centre. 💛

Jessica is a wellbeing economist and storyteller who shares “happy news” from the front lines of the wellbeing economy. From worker-owned co-ops and community land trusts to social enterprises and community-led solutions that prove a different future is not only possible, it’s already being built.

What we loved about this conversation is how practical (and hopeful) it felt: a reminder that “the economy” isn’t some distant system we have no say in. It’s something we shape every day through what we value, what we fund, what we protect, and how we show up for each other.

If you’ve been craving evidence that solutions exist, rooted in community, regeneration, and care, this is one to watch.
