Isabella “Izzy” Hernandez

She helped lead her team to an impressive 12–2 league record, proving she’s not just a standout player — she’s a difference-maker. Her versatility sets her apart. She can impact the game in every phase and does whatever her team needs to win.

She finished the season as the team leader with 54 total touchdowns, showcasing her ability to dominate offensively. Through the air, she threw for 26 passing touchdowns. On the ground, she added 21 rushing touchdowns, and she contributed another 7 receiving touchdowns — a true triple threat.

Defensively, she was just as dominant. She averaged 5.4 flag pulls per game, leading her team, recorded 19 sacks (second highest on the team), and secured 9 interceptions, also second highest.

But what truly separates her isn’t just the numbers — it’s her love for the game, her leadership, and the way she competes. She plays with passion. She plays for her teammates. She plays to win.

Any college program that earns her commitment won’t just be getting a talented athlete — they’ll be getting a competitor, a leader, and a young woman who pours everything she has into the game.

My plans next are to play college sports while pursuing my teaching career.

Favorite team memory?
My favorite team memory are all the dutch and food runs!

Biggest accomplishment?
My biggest accomplishment is being on a team that was first in league two consecutive years while also being final four in sections and state playoffs!

Something you learned?
I learned heart and hustle for the game can’t be taught to everyone, but it is seen by everyone!
