Feeling a certain kind of way about belated turning 26... :/

The cherry on top...? My birthday was a week and a half ago 💀 customs took forever to process the package this collar and hat came in. Anyway..... I'm not at all where I wanted to, or thought I'd be... but I'm here. Still taking things one day at a time, which is all anyone can do truly. It's hard to describe with words. It's a bitter-sweetness. I feel like I've fallen behind in so many aspects of my life, but in many others I'm light years ahead of plenty of people... but, when the brain has a negative bias, it's really hard to focus on anything but shortcomings... but tomorrow is... another day. Honk honk

Drinking Pfefferminz in a crosswalk in front of Polizei, after waiting almost 20 min for a bus... Vegan tofu tiramisu, walking from Nollendorfplatz to Lützowplatz multiple times 🥴 hopping on a Deutsche Bahn that actually was surprisingly on time... U-Bahn and S-Bahn rides both cramped and empty... Douglas, Rossmanns and corner bodegas a-plenty... I know in my heart of hearts I'll be back... Berlin is not a one-time trip for this small town queer with a big city heart 💜🩵 taken in Lützowplatz by @the.phoenix.is

26 💜🩵 I'm so glad to have been there for almost 10 now... every adventure you could ever think of and more. I'm so glad I get to be by your side as we create more. You've taught me so much about love, patience, and resilience. I can only hope you know how much you are loved by myself and others around you. Here's to another year and lifetime of making memories. I love you, happy birthday 🎉🎉🎉 by @the.phoenix.is
