Make Guyanese Roti with @metemgee! 👩🏾‍🍳

This was a very hands on experience during one of @abculinarymonth events some time ago.

I love rotis and I particularly loved the flavour of this roti- it was so soft and flaky!

It’s literally our local fruits and comfort items transformed into creamy ice cream and refreshing sorbets!

Our favourite? The tamarind + passion fruit combo! 😍👌🏾

Looking for someplace to eat in Antigua?
📍Canvas • Bay Gardens • Antigua

For some reason our girls night seems to end up @canvas.268 lately! When catching up, we love the lite bites and the drinks!

Canvas has changed the menu slightly and I’m happy I got a first look. They’ve kept a few favourites and introduced new items worth checking out.

The @pineapplebeachclub is an all inclusive, adults only resort in Antigua! 🇦🇬

I’ve stayed at quite a few all inclusives and I’ve often had difficulty with the food options. I must say that I did quite enjoy the meal options I had at this particular resort; there was quite a variety and some options that I absolutely loved and still think about!

📍1761 Café☕️
Right next to the reception area in a garden setting

This was my go to in the mornings! I loved the blended coffees! The caramel latte with a shot of Amaretto was a fave and perfect in a rush to my excursions. In the evenings, I would wind down with a cup of tea “to settle the stomach” ( Is this a Caribbean thing?? lol)

📍The Outhouse
On a hilltop and gives amazing sea views during the day

This is the spot for BBQ and grilled food; poultry, meats and fish! My favourite item is definitely the lamb chops!! 😍😍😍

📍Topaz Restautant
On the water front and gives you a salty breeze

This is where you can have breakfast, buffet lunch and à la carte dinner.

If you have time to sit before venturing out, the breakfast here is pretty good. You can get blended smoothies and omelettes along with a local and international buffet.

I will admit the lunch buffet here was my least favourite foodie experience.

📍Pelican Snack Grill
Near the main pool

This is your comfort food and snack spot throughout the day! Your typical burgers, wraps and wings if you have the munchies!

📍The Mongoose Bar
On the beach front and near the main pool

This is the main bar where most of the evening’s social activities like Karaoke, band night, games night etc take place.

📍Orchids Restaurant
Indoor dining near reception

This is the steakhouse and offers a more elevated dining experience.

It does come with a supplemental charge but it was probably my favourite restaurant.

I’ll do a separate video on that experience 👌🏾

📍Island Night + Street Party

This is your taste of a bit of Antigua’s local foodie culture in a carnival type outdoor party atmosphere. There are some self- service buffets and live cooking options available. taken in Pineapple Beach Club by @the.pig.within

Looking for things to do in Antigua beyond the beach? 🇦🇬 | Cooking Experience in Antigua

The Humble & Free Jabba Pot Experience is a unique cultural experience combining Rastafari culture, Ital cooking and hands-on learning. We did this as a girls day out and we had the best time!

The curators of this experience @adrean.richards and Kayla Joy have done an excellent job with removing some of the stigma associated with this way of life!

Save this for your Antigua itinerary and add it to your list of things to do when you @visitantiguaandbarbuda

Places to stay in Antigua 🇦🇬: Pineapple Beach Club 🍍| All inclusive + adults only!

A whole week of waking up to this… without having to catch a flight 🙌🏾

I’m spending the week @pineapplebeachclub and so far it’s giving me exactly what a getaway should: beautiful views, good food, great company and a little adventure.

It’s the kind of getaway that makes you forget what day it is! 😌

Explore Antigua’s wildlife and offshore islands by sea! If you’re staying on property @pineapplebeachclub or @verandahantigua, one of the excursions you can choose to do is the Calypso Cat to the Great Bird Island! 🏝️

You swim, snorkle and explore and it’s definitely one of my favourite ways to tour the island.

The Calypso Cat Charter

Hell’s Gate

A natural rock formation with caves and sea water pools.

It is located in the Northeast Marine Management Area (NEMMA), the largest marine protected area in Antigua and Barbuda.

Great Bird Island - a 20 acre Wild Life Sanctuary in the NEMMA.

Another island you sail past is Jumby Bay Island - a private luxury hotel and villas.

Little Jumby is another island that has a restaurant - The Hut

Steal my St. Kitts & Nevis Travel Itinerary! 🇰🇳

If you’re like me and always planning a getaway, then you consider St. Kitts & Nevis. My recent trips were the perfect blend of adventure, history, incredible food, island culture and relaxation.

📝 10 experiences to add to your St. Kitts & Nevis itinerary:

1. Ride the St. Kitts Scenic Railway for the best panoramic island views.

2. Take a day trip to Nevis by ferry or catamaran and experience two Caribbean islands in one vacation!

3. Have a beach day with lunch on the Frigate Bay Strip from any of the restaurants.
