For years, I built other people’s empires from behind the lens. Always in the right rooms. Always in proximity to the highest earners and top influencers. But standing on those stages, I always knew in the back of my head: One day it's going to be me. The camera will be on me one day soon.You see, proximity around the greats is a double-edged sword. It shows you what’s possible, while also reminding you exactly what you’re leaving on the table.In the last 6 months, I decided I was done just observing. I was ready to be the one speaking on stage instead of filming it. And I realized the current vehicle I was in wasn't going to get me there any faster. I had to change vehicles.So I packed up the camera biz slowly but surely and bet on myself in remote sales—a vehicle that scales way faster than a media company ever could, with much more freedom of time and travel.To most, all the years sounds like time wasted. To me, being in those rooms wasn’t a coincidence; it was preparation. For who I am now, and for who I am becoming. For who I am meant to be. & at times, I do miss working with the best clients and filming some of the best entrepreneurs in the world. But now, I'm just ready for that next level. 🚀 Cheers to that by @the.pixel.plug
