We wanted a space that would feel like a part of the experience, not just a place to host it. ✨ That’s exactly what @thefotoindustry brings to The Portrait Party. Beautifully designed, full of character and the kind of space that makes you want to create, connect and stay a little longer. @hayeokoh and @imogieberg stopped by to give you a glimpse, but honestly, some spaces are better experienced in person. So come take it all in. 🎥🎥: @reelstimeafrica October 4th • Abuja Link in our bio #ThePortraitParty #AbujaCreatives by @the.portrait.party

Some moments deserve a second look. ✨ The people. The portraits. The conversations. The connections. On October 4, creatives came together for The Portrait Party, a celebration of personality, expression and community. And beyond the frames, there were stories worth telling and moments worth reliving. Here’s a look back at the experience. 🥂 The Portrait Party, Abuja. Last Sunday, I brought The Ufeli Mariam Experience to a party. 🤍 But this wasn’t your regular party. Portrait Party was an intentional gathering, and I’m so happy to have partnered with them to bring the experience to life. Here’s a little behind-the-scenes with Haye, the host of Portrait Party, as we got her camera-ready. Knowing she’d be on her feet, hosting and moving around throughout the event, I wanted her skin work to feel light, fresh and comfortable. The goal was a polished, camera-ready look that felt good on her skin, without being heavy or overwhelming. Understanding the skin, the person, the occasion and knowing what to do with what you use is what good makeup is all about. Beautiful results definitely begin with understanding. A few moments from the portrait sessions. Some came ready with their poses, some found their angles along the way, and some couldn’t hide their excitement when they saw their portraits. 🥹 Venue @thefotoindustry Media production @thekdproductions Drinks @wellnex.ng Music @iamdjdannymix_weddings Makeup @ufelimariam Styling @the_empressstyling Food @enoculinaryart Content creation @enviadohq Cinematographer @zaraarti Branding @kreativebykjstudios Mc @obazi_irem Mc @asah_bara Music Artist @emi_legbon Music Artist @gaziroyalty Plants @theplantingco Spoken word @dearsociety.ekioaziba Portraits @momentsbyh2h_ Monologues @zayneculture Graphics @jeremiahdfirst #ThePortraitParty #AbujaCreatives by @the.portrait.party
