Book Goblin! It will take me an hour to get him out. Yes, I keep my physical TBR under my bed. Yes, it’s a problem. I am not a fancy bookstagram influencer. I’m just a mom who remembered she loved to read after giving into my sister’s insistence I read ACOTAR. I am also a part time architect of hiding spots for Ace.

Cypher: Lord of the Fallen by John French and narrated perfectly by Jon Rand was such a fun listen and a wild ride. It’s like that titanic, we all know how it’s going to end but the telling of it is truly captivating!

City of Souls and Sinners by @kaylaedwardsauthor in paperback at Target! I’m so excited and a little intimidated by the size, not gonna lie. Also snagged Bullet Proof by @k.m.moronova which I was not aware of! If I can steal some moments to read this weekend it will be amazing.

Warhammer Wednesday! Newest edition, Rauldoron: Revenant by Guy Haley. “The thirst is on you. Provoked by shame. It becomes rage. Rage undoes us all.”

Sanguinius is possibly my favorite primarch. Only just started this book and I’m already riveted.

I am easily influenced. But these three books were super fun and I regret nothing. @melissa.emerald.author The Bride Contract, @authormonablack King of Nothing, and @laylafaeauthor Prize for the King and Spicily Ever After. Aliens, a dark fairy retelling of Peter Pan and monsters, but beyond that the character dynamics and the plot was top tier storytelling.

Also this was part of a long book review video I cut up because no one wants to listen to me drone on for 5 minutes but I also did want to give this super dope #killbill shirt some more play.

Thank you @tw_publishing for the ARC of Alluring Shadows. This is a really creative take on old characters and mythology, but it just did not hit for me. That’s a me thing. Would someone read it and weigh in? Or if you have read it, tell me what you think! Still 4 stars because it’s very hard to write something new and thoughtful in an old genre with classic characters.

Garden of Gods by @aylayrgn might be god tier for me. I can feel it. I’m not done reading so I will update when I finish, but I’m absolutely loving the book so far! It’s got #fourthwing vibes with a magical college, political intrigue that feels like an oppressive dictatorship like #hungergames but with a West Asian influence.

The Dark Lord’s Guide to Dating by Tiffany Hunt is hilarious, spicy, and super fun! The chapter titles are written like a guide and add some funny context, but the characters will win you over in the first 20 pages!

Kazimir and Arabella are so well written and you get invested their kidnapped bride, marriage of convenience and world domination situationship so hard I was yelling at my car while listening on my drive. Some notable side characters and henchmen add color to this romcom but the real show is the growing tension and spicy explosions between Kaz and Arabella.

I cannot wait to dive into book two! #relatable #thedarklord #romantasy #romcombooks #audiobook by @the.relatable.reader

City of Gods and Monsters by @kaylaedwardsauthor is probably gonna be a god tier series for me. What a wild ride! But this book has it ALL!! Magic, intense mystery, high stakes drama and violence, awesome character names (I mean Erasmus!), and the arcanum well plot was super cool.

I am unwell going into book 2 because I know that things won’t stay where they are! #cityofgodsandmonsters #dariencassel #houseofdevils #relatable #romantasy by @the.relatable.reader
