Feast Day of Mary Magdalene 🌹There are so many women and stories I remember but today I’m remembering Miriam of Magdala. So grateful to @megganwatterson for illuminating what so many of us have felt deeply for a long time but didn’t have the words or historical knowledge to affirm in her book Mary Magdalene Revealed. Mary’s Gospel was first recovered in 1896 but the reason why it’s only NOW rising in popularity is because we are being called.You are being called…To bring forward your gifts. To change lives. To shift paradigms. To build wealth. To help heal the world and restore the planet, our great mother. Not because you’re special…Because we all are. I was adjusting my ten year old self uncomfortably on a hard wooden pew when I heard the catholic priest say, “if you are not giving charity to the church every week you are going straight to hell.”My stomach clenched. I felt the rise of bile in the back of my throat. Not because I was afraid of going to hell. But because I knew that something was terribly wrong. Something important was missing here in this “House of God” that instilled fear in the congregation week after week. I know now that it was love. Love was missing. Truth was missing. My mom and I walked out of that church right at that very moment and never returned. Growing up in all kinds of subtle and overt ways you were taught that you lacked power, intelligence, choice.Even now you think you lack credentials, connections, money, status, followers, strategy. But those are all decoys…Distractions from the source of all illusions of lack which began the moment you were taught that God lived somewhere outside of you - somewhere far away, in a book or behind a pulpit, mediated by a man in robes who got to decide how close you were allowed to get. The moment you learned your worth was measured through obedience instead of inherent as who you really are. That is the only wound. The Kingdom was never rationed. You were. If you’re reading this I know that you are on this planet as a part of the healing of this wound not only for you and your lineage but for all of humanity. Women are being called to rise in the leadership that was once prohibited, to be the oracles + priestesses we’ve always been and CLAIM the overflowing wealth of the Kingdom. Because you can only give what you have. And when you go first, you give other women permission to do the same. May we remember, again and again, that we are each God’s gift to the world - and act like it. And so it is. You know your mission is here to impact millions and make millions. But even in the success you’ve already built, your body is still bracing for the other shoe to drop. Your stomach is probably tight as you’re reading this. And even though you’re able to deeply ENJOY your life at times, if you’re honest, you’re still running on vigilance. You’re also good at performing pleasure without actually feeling it 🫦Which has a cost. Like when your partner reached for you last night and your body was there but your mind was writing tomorrow’s to-do list. Or like when you barely celebrate your current win before calculating what you need to do to repeat it next month. Or you feel that familiar jaw tightening/bracing every time you pull out your CC regardless of how much money is there. This is a RECEIVING issue. You know you’re meant for more. More clients, more artistry, bigger impact, bigger stages. A NYT Bestseller. More FREEDOM. The advice to niche down was never meant for me (and it likely isn’t meant for you either) because my work gets the ROOT of the programs that are running everything in your life.Whatever dissatisfaction you feel in your partnership, your business, your friendships, your confidence is really an indicator of a fear based (contraction) pattern that is running the show. And unlike most coaches who will blow smoke up your a$$ and tell you that you can just positive think your way to a new reality, I will tell you the TRUTH that you will actually have to learn how to FEEL everything you’re avoiding feeling. But the good news is, when you bring pleasure into the chat, it makes the whole process better and easier than you might imagine. And eventually you get off on bringing your shadows to the surface where you used to override them bc you know what the F to do with that now. You have the capacity to transmute ANYTHING. You’re willing to shift identities again and again bc you know how to feel good through the discomfort of it all. Patterns of procrastination and perfectionism dissolve and you move faster than nearly anyone can keep up with but not out of stress + vigilance - out of pure fcking God driven curiosity and inspiration and joy. Today’s lesson in ACIM was “I have no neutral thoughts.”This is one of my faves (I have many) bc it’s a reminder that every thought you think is either perpetuating suffering or supporting liberation. There’s love or there’s fear. Every thought creates form on some level. Your reality is a giant hologram that is being created by the way you think and feel. When you change what you are projecting, you change the experience you are having. If you want more freedom you have to FREE yourself from the thoughts and feelings that cage you. What are your mantras?If you crave more abundance, success, impact, love, freedom but you find yourself repeating things like:I’m tired.I don’t have time.I’m too busy. I don’t know how to do that so it’s not for me. Etc.Then that will be the truth of your identity and your reality. Change what you repeat. Omit the words and thoughts that limit you. You are not the victim of your reality, you are the creator of it. You are not meant to react to life’s circumstances, you are meant to create them by the way you think and feel.
