If you’re new here, hello!! We have a lot of new faces on our page, and we wanted to introduce ourselves and invite you to our open studio sessions. All creatives are welcome, and this will be a chance to meet other Orange County creatives and make art together with a community. We are owned and operated by a budding workers co-op, comprised of artists and creative community members. Check our link in bio to RSVP for our upcoming events!

Welcome to WIP Wednesdays, where WE show YOU what our open studio attendees are working on!

Last week, Kevin brought his new pedal board to our Monday open studio session, and the board features a looper! For us non-musicians, a looper allows you to record a riff, then play it automatically on repeat. This way, you can make some pretty sick melodies.

This was Kevin's first time playing with the looper, how did he do? by @the.scrib

❗️Calling all Orange County Creatives ❗️If you only make art alone at home, you’re missing out!

At The Scrib, we’re a collective of all kinds of artists with different disciplines. This is a reminder that creativity will naturally flow when you nurture your inner artists child. What better way to nurture your creativity than working alongside other artists at a shared studio space?

Creative coworking happens 3x a week at our studio in Santa Ana. Did we mention it was completely FREE? Sign up through our link in bio!

Have you ever felt excluded in the art world? Are you feeling lost and alone in your creative practice? Are you slowly losing the will to make art, especially in the midst of a deteriorating political environment, exponential inflation, and the waning of your mental sanity?

We promise YOU'RE NOT ALONE. While we can't help you with those last three points, we DO offer a FREE community for you to come make your work alongside other like-minded creatives. We are so excited proud of welcoming different types of creatives to one spot, aka our open studio sessions! You'll work alongside digital illustrators, musicians, painters, writers etc. if you just show up!

No pay to play, ever, we promise.

CO-OP UPDATES: HOLY SMOKES IT'S HAPPENING!!!

By "it", we mean the first ever artist onboarding meeting!!

If you told any of us we'd be starting an art community/ worker's co-op/ online shop & gallery / newsletter, etc. etc., then maybe some of us would believe you. But most of us would probably ask, "what the hell??" 😆

And yet, behind the scenes we've been researching, planning, setting up systems (art and business systems, what???), and getting our name out there to show you what genuinely supportive art community looks like 🌱 Get ready because this is just the start!! by @the.scrib
