Per a recent bylaw amendment, my term as Student Body President at Abilene Christian University comes to an end on Saturday, May 9th, 2026—graduation day. (This sounds so drama lol)

Serving as SBP has been the greatest honor of my college experience. I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside servant-hearted leaders and witnessing their love for the Lord, and this year has been nothing short of exceptional. SGA has been part of my journey since freshman year (swipe for a few moments from over the years), and it has shaped my time at ACU in ways I will always carry with me.

I’m incredibly grateful to the Lord for placing me here, and to the student body for trusting me to serve. SGA has been hope in action, and I pray that legacy continues. I’m so excited to see all that the next administration will do, because their passion and heart are unmatched.

It has been such a privilege to serve you. I truly hope you felt that we were “for the people” and most importantly, for you.

With deep gratitude,
Tamil Adele
Student Body President 2025–2026 by @the.tamiill
