Not a transformation. A project.

I hired a coach because I wanted structure, accountability, and real growth.

This page documents life under coaching — the workouts, the meals, the mindset, the adjustments.

The First Swing was more than just pickleball. It was about bringing people together, making new connections, and creating a community centered around an active lifestyle.

But don’t just take our word for it. Hear what this couple had to say about spending their date night at The First Swing! 🎤👀

The before & after is cool… but y’all didn’t see everything that happened in between. P.S. Don’t mind all of that cheesing, I’m just proud of how far I’ve come. 😁

I…

🏃🏾 Became a runner when I NEVER considered myself one
🏁 Ran my first 5K
📈 Started chasing running PRs
🏋🏾‍♂️ Got stronger while losing weight
🥗 Learned how to actually manage my nutrition
🥩 Prioritized protein instead of just eating less
⚖️ Learned how to stay consistent through weight fluctuations instead of letting the scale discourage me
🔥 Lost 30+ lbs and dropped body fat
😮‍💨 Showed up for workouts even when I had ZERO energy
❌ Had bad workouts, failed lifts and days where I fell off
🔄 Learned how to get back on track instead of quitting
📸 Started documenting the journey
🤝 Found community through fitness and run clubs
🧠 Changed my relationship with fitness from something I “had to do” into a lifestyle

And the craziest part?
I’m still not done.

Still learning. Still working. Still becoming.
