How do we move when we turn off our minds? 🐅

Somatic movement and contact improvisation at @alive.madeira is about letting the body move from a body impulse, not a thought.

This is why we always start our events with this practice — to slow down the mind, wake up the body, and shift from thinking to being before the music takes over.

Thank you, my dear people. It was a pure pleasure to be with you ✨

I’ve been coming back to dancing my whole life and just recently dance taught me how to turn off my head and come back into my body 💛 That’s why I’m guiding movenent practices at ALIVE — to share simple ways to let go, feel present, and move freely 🐅 by @the.vasilenko

As the year comes to an end, I keep coming back to one of my favourite performances of 2025 at @thepurplefridays . A reminder that nothing truly great is ever created alone 💛

So many people were behind this night:

Teamwork really is the magic behind the magic ✨ and I can’t wait to bring even more of it into 2026. by @the.vasilenko
