Hi, I'm a turd.

An expensive, pretty, full-time job kind of turd.

Shoutout to my co-captain on this wild ride.

Through all the ups and downs I can always count on her for a few laughs, a proper cuddle and a dead mouse unceremoniously dropped at my feet.

I'd have gone crazy long ago if it wasn't for this little shit. by @the.wildr.things

Anyone else finding Instagram to be a total drag lately? I still love it because it pushes me and inspires me photographically, but I also totally hate it. It’s just such a chore to even see the accounts you love to see, and I see like the same 10 accounts over and over and seriously though, what the fuck. I’m bored with it. Stop making it complicated insta.

Also words are hard. For a solid hour the caption I was going to post was “Dog”. Definitely not feeling very wordy these days 😂

Rant over.

It’s already spring (or like summer really lol) here and I’m realizing I’m no longer acclimated to Texas weather and it’s hot AF y’all. So I’m just going to stare at icicle photos a while longer and dream about summer swims in big old lakes.

It’s been a long time since I’ve explored my hometown, and I have forgotten how much I love it.

These are the same streets I used to wander when I first picked up a camera, I wasn’t shooting dogs back then, more like cityscapes, but it’s been an absolute blast returning to the same bridge 20 years later and photographing The Rue there.

It’s funny how we spend so much time yearning to explore new places and there’s a whole world of exciting corners and streets right in our own backyard.
