Are you looking for something to do now that the evenings are getting dark a little earlier? Why not try Nottingham’s very own Collage & Cocktails // Drink & Draw sessions on Wednesday evenings. Whether you’ve never drawn in your life or you’re a seasoned profesh at collage, they’ve got you covered! With two wonderful humans hosting this welcoming creative evening, they’ll guide anyone who is feeling a little lost. If you’re looking for an unusual date spot or an alternative to an afterwork meet up at the pub, this is for you. Every Wednesday from 7pm you can find an alternating event of either Collage & Cocktails or Drink & Draw at The Carousel. Mixed media materials are provided for both events so just bring yourself or even bring your junk journal! Tickets are just £5 and available through @the___carousel Website. taken in Nottingham, United Kingdom by @the___carousel

Ay up! The Nottingham Folklore Society’s next monthly moot will be held on Thursday 8th October 🍂 We’re excited to be hosting the moot at the wonderful @the___carousel in Hockley. We are chuffed with how many people want to take part and this space allows us to welcome more people. Founded in 2019, The Carousel is a vibrant community building that, through events, exhibitions and workshops, brings people together and provides space for the community. Our Monthly Moots are a chance to meet new people and share our love of folklore. As the leaves fall and we enter the autumn months, we’ll be discussing what local customs and traditions are coming up in October and begin to build a folklore calendar for the Notts area 🌳 We will also be hearing from guest speakers and if you would like to speak at this moot then please complete our online form (link in bio!). We will be heading over to @thekingbillypub after the moot, for a drink and to watch the weekly Irish Traditional Folk session 🎻 Whilst our next meeting is currently fully booked, you can join a waiting list, in case someone drops out! See you there m’ducks? 💚 #nottsfolkloresociety #nottsfolklore #nottingham #folklore #notts by @the___carousel
