Open kitchen table service for our first gathering.

Mesaa, an event series centered around taste & space. Each event will be curated around different concepts, atmosphere, and flavors.

•—Our second event at @atelierpottenpannen, this time hosting the chefs from @ambiente_restaurants.

Degustation menu was crafted by our one and only @myslimzeelena paired with wines by @lacave.wines. The table setting was built around glass pieces by @elismonsport and metal pieces by @cyrilcyrilcyrilcerealcyril.

Thank you for the trust @tomas_rachunek — we are already looking forward to the next one.—•

•—And so we gathered from mid-day till after sunset at our Mesaa de Verano last Saturday.

We couldn’t have wished for a better end of summer celebration, through sun rays, food trays, friends & music. Thank you all for joining us!

•—The House. A gallery and art hub set in a modernist villa from the 1930s, which still retains its distinctive character and atmosphere. A space for contemporary art, creative work, residencies and gatherings. An inspiring place with a surrounding garden, where the history of the house naturally meets contemporary art and new projects.

This time, The House will open its doors to The Messa. Expect an immersive gastronomic experience, site-specific installations in the garden, a carefully curated DJ lineup, and a pop-up exhibition featuring the residents of The House art hub. For one day, the gallery, garden, art, music and gastronomy will come together as one shared experience—•

Baking with her grandmother drove Johana’s curiosity for pastry. Sharing food is what she enjoys the most about her job.

Johana studied at ENSP in France before interning at Michelin-starred @jardindesplumes, working @cafeslavia, and Prague’s Michelin-starred @fieldrestaurant. Last September, she joined pastry chef @jirimatejka at @furiant_prague, an ultra-sweet pop-up.

Picking garden herbs before service at Jardin des Plumes shaped her signature style: pairing seasonal fruit with fresh herbs and keeping sweetness low so the ingredients can speak for themselves.

As a passionate diver and environmental volunteer, she is deeply mindful of waste. This approach was shaped by both her time in the ocean and time spent with nuns in a cloister.

Who better to join us for our Mesaa the Verano on August 29 than Hodo-Kvas — a fun fusion of all the flavors you love. Drawing from Czech tradition, they add a plot twist to each dish, blending nostalgic staples with unexpected pairings. Vojtěch and Agata will be taking care of our pizzas & salads. •—Son brings over a decade of culinary experience to the table—most recently at @alma__prague, and currently at @taroprague.

Born and raised in the Czech Republic, Son grew up on vepřo knedlo, borůvkové knedlíky, and makové šišky. Vietnamese cuisine remains closest to his heart, which defines his signature style: an effortless blend of vibrant Asian flavors with classic Western ingredients, (think rich truffles meets aromatic charcoal-grilled street food) which you can expect at our Mesaa de Verano on August 29—•

•—Starting our introduction of local chefs for our Mesaa de Verano.

Elena Czigle has more than 9 years of experience at the kitchen. Thanks to her professional training in @bateabarcelona, her dishes are highly inspired in Spanish roots & flavors.

Currently crafting creative brunch menus in Prague, and one of the main head chefs of Mesaa.

Elena is creating a fun, vibrant, and tasty menu that will be served in small bites throughout the event. Raw, cured, fermented, cooked, pickled, and grilled.
