Gloves On vs. Gloves Off 💫

Hello! My name is Amy and I’m a nail tech in Sacramento, California.
Professionally, I specialize in Russian manicure techniques with hard gel. I always strive for the healthiest, most crisp version of your natural nails! Nail art is a huge reason I got into doing nails because I love the process, although I really do love the simplicity of a clean one color manicure as well these days. My craft is always evolving as I love taking classes and I’m not shy to try new products and methods. I love Korean and Japanese nail art trends. They’re different from western styles because the art tends to lean into the nuances of color and shine, imperfect lines and gradients. ➰

When I’m not in the studio I love relaxing at home with my cats (huge cat lady energy ✨🐈‍⬛) and making iced matcha lattes 🍵(trust that chasen & bowl has a permanent spot on my very tiny counter). Sometimes after a long day at work I still like coming home and making dinner because cooking is fun for me! I don’t find the energy anymore for everyday but I used to work in cosmetics (Benefit Cosmetics + Morphe) and on my days off you may occasionally run into me with a full face for fun like the old days.
