It is with heavy hearts that the ACOM family mourns the loss of Ryan Davalos, a second-year medical student and cherished member of our community.

Ryan’s presence touched the lives of his classmates, faculty, staff and all who had the privilege of knowing him. As our community gathered to remember and honor his life, we reflected on the friendships he formed, the memories he leaves behind and the impact he made during his time at ACOM.

Ryan will be deeply missed by his classmates, friends and the entire ACOM family. We extend our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to his family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

May we continue to honor Ryan’s memory by carrying forward the kindness, friendship and sense of community that connected him to so many. by @the_acom

Spirit Week is in full bloom at ACOM! Students kicked off the week by creating their own bouquets with the Thistle n’ Dixie Flower Bar and showing off their wild side for “Animals on the Prowl” dress-up day. A pretty great way to start the week! 💐 taken in Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine by @the_acom
