POSTS STORIES REELS
On Wednesday, November 4, from 6–9 PM, join us at the American Visionary Art Museum for an unforgettable evening highlighting the stories of local artists, told through the unique medium of story cloth. 🪡 Our program is inspired by the powerful AVAM exhibition, “Esther and the Dream of One Loving Human Family,” which features the embroidered tapestries of Holocaust survivor Esther Nisenthal Krinitz, as well as other works by talented creators from around the world. The evening will include time for guests to explore the AVAM galleries, then hear from artists directly about their artworks and story. This event is free, with donations greatly appreciated if you are able. ❤️ Learn more through the link in our bio, or go to: https://www.avam.org/event-details/free-stories-and-stitches-community-art-share-night Special thank you to: Art and Remembrance (@artandremembrance) Make Studio (@makestudiobmore) Common Threads Project (@commonthreadsproject) Intercultural Counseling Connection (@interculturalcounselingconnect) Global Refuge (@globalrefuge_) by @the_avam

For extra credit, educators can also pick up a Kinetic lesson plan for their own classrooms! Free to attend, family and pet friendly. Food/drinks available for purchase. 🍻 📍 Checkerspot Brewing Company 1421 Ridgely St, Baltimore, MD Click the link in our bio for more information or go to: https://www.avam.org/event-details/seeking-the-kinetic-curious P.S.
