Always fun and games with this lot. 😅

The Bay Run served up another cracking sunrise, plenty of laughs, and just enough kilometres to shake the legs out before tomorrow’s long run. Funny how that 5am alarm feels a lot less painful when you know you’re turning up to good people and good vibes.

A couple of easy laps, a coffee, a few questionable photo poses, and suddenly the morning is won before most people have hit snooze.

Now it’s time to lock in for tomorrow’s long run. See you all at the TCS Sydney Marathon Run Club monthly run. Let’s go! 🏃‍♂️🔥

Sun up, bay glowing, and the crew rolling 🌊

Busy weekend loading… quick dash to work, then it’s road trip mode to Wagga Wagga. Lead bike duties tomorrow, then straight back to stack my own kilometres because race week has officially entered the chat. Runway Run next Sunday is calling and we’re answering loud.

But first, a lap of the bay with one of my favourite crews. No better way to spark the engine than this.

We did it 🙌

I’m incredibly proud to announce that I’ve been selected as a TCS Sydney Marathon Ambassador for 2026 🏃‍♂️✨

This honestly means the world to me and I’m beyond excited to see what this role becomes.

But the truth is I wouldn’t be here without the wider running community.

The application asked for a 90 second video explaining how I could bring the running community together. That’s when it hit me!. Why not bring the running community together for the application itself?

It didn’t quite follow the brief and it was definitely outside the box but without hesitation these absolute legends ran with the idea and all I had to do was set the pace.

Eighteen people. Eighteen stories. One community.

Thank you doesn’t even come close. I hope to represent every single one of you with pride and dignity. You are the village behind this clown 🤣 and I couldn’t be more grateful.

I did promise these videos would never see the light of day so I hope you’re okay with these screenshots 😉 but how else could I show the power of this community.

From all four corners of the globe this proves one thing. The running community is united as one.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. It’s Road to Redemption season. Let’s get after it. Let’s go. 🏃🏽‍♂️💨🔥

One year of footsteps, friendships and finish lines. From the first meet up to today’s Bay Run birthday celebration, this crew has built something special. So many laughs shared, even more kilometres logged and countless memories made along the way. Grateful to be part of a community that shows up, lifts each other and keeps moving forward. Happiest first birthday to the Sydney Muslim Running Club. Here is to many more miles together.

It just hits different having you back with the crew.

From the moment I rocked up and @youi_ak welcomed me with open arms (and even bigger laughs), I knew I was in the right place surrounded by a community I’ve missed so much!
One lap THIS TIME, but running next to my brother @the_bayrunner hit different. Feeling good, feeling positive, and officially stepping back onto the road to redemption.

I’m back baby!
Or as Smokin Joe would say… “Big D is in the house!” 🤣🤣🤣

Wheels are back on, full steam ahead.

You know it’s all business when @abdellah_bilala doesn’t even stop for a birthday hug 😜 It was worth a try 🤣 But seriously brother, you’re a monster and should be bery proud of yourself 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 And Happy Birthday once again! 🥳

But if you thought for a second I wasn’t going to cheer our team home, then like Lil Jon says, “you outta your mind!” 🔊

I’m honestly so proud of this crew. This was the first time we had all actually met, let alone run together, and we placed! Not bad for a bunch of old fellas and a baby face we call the “Masonator.” 😂

From day one, I called on these three beasts and without hesitation, each accepted the challenge. We had bumps with the accommodation, injuries and even doubts the day before… but we never skipped a beat.

💥 @wild_burny — the definition of a beast. You set the tone and nailed those hills! Couldn’t have asked for a better start!
💥 @mbrghtms_ — like the little brother I never had. You’ve been on fire all year and this was just the proof. Take a bow 🙌🏽 Sky’s the limit brother! Look out 2026!
💥 @the_bayrunner — I see a lot of myself in you, and I couldn’t have picked a better person to carry us home over that finish line.

We had bumps. We had doubts. But at the end of the day we never gave up & WE DID IT!. I always believed we would.

So here’s my challenge… let’s lace up again next year. Same vibe. Same energy. Same team! We got another one in us!!!

Call me crazy, but I kinda liked you guys cursing me out on the track out there! It’s all love!😅
