Join us at The Bookmatters for an evening with Sonia Feldman, author of the national bestselling novel Girl’s Girl!

Sonia Feldman is a Cleveland-based writer whose work has appeared in The Missouri Review, The Southern Review, and Waxwing. She is the winner of the PEN America PEN/Dau Short Story Prize for Emerging Writers and the creator of Sonia’s Poem of the Week, a popular email newsletter celebrating poetry.

Her debut novel, Girl’s Girl, is a sharp, intimate story of friendship, desire, girlhood, and the complicated ways we understand ourselves through the people closest to us.

On November 13th at 7 PM Sonia will be in conversation with Aditha Reddy! There will then be time for audience questions and book signing.

Our October Book Club pick is here, and we're getting witchy! Join us on Thursday, October 22nd at 7 PM for a conversation about K. S. Shay's atmospheric debut, Portrait of a Witch Undone.

Once, Maeve Ryan was the strongest witch of her generation. Now, after a spell gone wrong leaves her infected with wild magic, Maeve just wants to get rid of her powers for good. But when her best friend Ash disappears through the empty frame of a stolen painting, Maeve is pulled into a haunting realm connected to the infamous Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum art heist.

With witches, haunted marshes, stolen masterpieces, New England folklore, and a friendship worth risking everything for, this one is perfect for a spooky October read.

RSVP is required, and purchasing Portrait of a Witch Undone from us at 20% off guarantees your seat. So grab your copy, start reading, and come chat with us! taken in The Bookmatters by @the_bookmatters
