Good Sunday morning, I received this message this morning on one of my platforms, from one of the funeral services we rendered yesterday. It’s reviews like these that makes us go harder and not get relaxed, that keeps us going and realizing it’s all worth it in the end, although hard at times. I so love and appreciate all of the families we serve, entrusting their precious loved ones in our care, to not only serve our families with Integrity, humility, respect, concern, and care, but know we handle their loved ones whom has passed away as if their our own, knowing God sees all, and will never mishandle them in any inhumane way. What we do in the back, shows when you view your loved one at 1st viewing. I’m so elated for @briannaplpickett and I to have been invited to the historical dedication of the @mxc_westcampus ’s community center being dedicated and named in honor of my long time friend and mentor @officialrepdannydavis @dannykdavis7th, a gesture so deserving and over do. Congressman Davis is a true legend and has contributed so much to not only the 7th Congressional District, but to the world as a whole. My good friend and His wife @veragdavis too, has contributed just as much, as she has stood by his side. As he soon prepare for retirement, I’m so glad he was able to see this dedication while still here with us on earth, My Brother @lkffdr , knows he has some big shoes to fill as the soon to be New Congressman of the 7th Congressional district, I have no doubt will do just as an amazing job, as I look forward to working with him just as hard to continue to make a difference. @chicagosmayor @brandon4chicago , let’s continue to keep his legacy going as we work hard to re-elect you Brother. by @the_bp

Today we celebrate what would have been the 93rd BirthAnniversary of a legend, who soo many Pastors across the World looked at him as a spiritual Father, covering, and leader from Pastors T.D. Jakes, @pastorhannah , @prophetcarn , @apostlejohnabercrombie, @bishopnoeljonesglobal , @pastorscaesar , @marvin_lwinans, @jamalhbryant and countless others, My Late Pastor, Friend, & Covering, Apostle Richard D. Henton. Life has not been the same since his departure. 24 years ago, He prophesied that I would get a call from a man offering me his funeral home, and yes, it happened the following week. Every Thursday, was his and my day, he would not take any bookings nor meeting all morning and early afternoon to have that time with me, we did and went some of every where together, from lakeshore drive drives with the sunroof back, windows down getting fresh air, lunch on the spirit of chicago, Navy Pier, I took him to all sides of town to get some good food, see areas he never been too, Car shopping, and etc., talked about any and everything, as I was his security by me working in law enforcement, his confidant who he seeked much advice in, respected and took my advice even with me being so young, and as big of a giant as he was, he was never too big to have a listening ear to others. I have never repeated anything to anyone he has spoken to me In confidence as I have never with my over 3 dozen pastor’s who support my funeral homes. I so love and miss you man of God, continue to take your rest here on earth but advocate strongly for us there in heaven. Thank you to all participating members of the M.W. Job Grand Lodge @mandafm_il , M.W. Dinah Grand Chapter @mandafmoes_il , @bppickettfuneralgroup, @bppickettfoundation, @jessewhitetumblers and countless of other volunteers, contributors, and close to 100 households we touched and served on our annual back to school supply giveaway State Wide Moral building rally. Every Year, My God Father, Former IL Secretary of State, Jesse White has his annual College Trunk Event, that I co-sponsor, giving away the most important essentials needed to get students started and ready for college, from Smart TV’s, computers, laptops, other electronics, comforters, pillows, towels and so much more.
