Dumplings pt. 2, plus I threw some breadcrumbs in with the rest of the dumpling filling I had to make meatballs. Basically just used the rest of my dumpling wrappers and frozen lettuce to make these little envelope shaped dumplings, so that's pretty chill. Wasn't following a specific recipe, I was just winging it honestly, but it turned out pretty good. The sauce is soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili flakes, honey, and a bit of lemon juice because the umami was WAY too strong and so I needed to do something about it.

Basically spent my morning cooking to take a break from working on my YouTube videos. Thanks to actually having time and energy and finishing one of the bigger WHSMP videos, I somehow managed to crank out 6 videos in 10 days! Genuinely crazy work, considering most of them are around 40 mins to an hour, but I love this SMP and I'm excited to share what I can of it. But for now, I'm taking a bit of a break to chill, study for my final, finish up my online finance class, and actually watch some things instead of making things. I just watched Glitch's Gameoverse and I'm not even ashamed to admit that seeing a 2D-animated show with so much passion and enthusiasm be put into it made me want to cry a little lol. I really hope it gets greenlit. Other than that, I've been meaning to watch Gachiakuta, so I might do that. We'll see! by @the_cageinator22

Onion soup (from a mix I made a while ago), rice, and shrimp and bell pepper dumplings!

Accidentally hit post before my yap sesh lmao

Anyway, this is the product of me looking at all the shit I have and realizing I could probably make dumplings. I was going to make the rice so I can have soup and rice, because the rice was taking up space in my freezer. Then i remembered my rice cooker is also a steamer, so..dumplings!

I still had half of my shrimp from when I attempted to make shrimp and grits hush puppies, but my buttermilk had spoiled and I tried using some heavy cream. It didn't work and I was having a terrible day so I honestly just threw it all out lmao. But I still had some shrimp and some bell pepper for it, so I wanted to use that.

I didn't have any green onion, and I swapped the cabbage for some lettuce I had after making some BITCHIN BLTs. Plus I added some spices, bit of MSG, etc. Overall this is pretty good! I put too much corn starch in the filling but oh well. I'm just happy to be eating a little cleaner after eating junk for a hot sec. Also I got a shitload of dumplings for basically $3! by @the_cageinator22

Made tuna sliders instead of doing my architecture work lmao. I trying to use more of what I have, especially since my part of the pantry's so cluttered, so this is the first of many endeavors for that. I always buy tinned/canned fish for protein, hence the canned tuna, but I also managed to use the rest of my celery. The recipe I was using called for cracker crumbs, but I ended up blending up the rest of my Veggie Chips (which I frankly wasn't gonna eat) and used those instead. Plus I used the remainder of my pickles to top the things.

However, the sauce I made for this absolutely SLAPS. The original recipe is just mayo, lemon juice, and fresh dill, right? Normally I don't buy fresh herbs but hey, I have a freezer, so whatever. So I did all that, but also decided to throw in a container of Cane's sauce that's been sitting in my fridge for ages. And I gotta say, genius move, brings a nice flavor to the rest of the burger. Usually when I experiment and throw random shit in, it doesn't work out well, but ngl, these ended up being bomb.

I'm gonna be making shrimp and grits hush puppies soon to use up the instant grits I'm not eating, so hopefully I'll post those when I do. This photo lowkey sucks ass but honestly not trying to be an influencer, just want to post food and yap to the void lmao by @the_cageinator22

My winter design final. The idea was to draw inspiration from a safe space, so I chose my group of online friends at Wholesome Hellscape SMP.

Sidenote, new Ultrakill layer dropped and it's sick. Absolute mindfuck and scared the shit out of me at some points. Highly recommend by @the_cageinator22

Made some orange chicken last night and just cooked up some fried rice with some leftovers. Good stuff. So glad to be able to cook again.
As for the song, haven't listened to the full album yet but this one came up on my Release Radar and I really fw it. Hits home. I actually used to be really into Mother Mother around 2020 I think? Idk, its when I chopped my long hair. Speaking of, I've been thinking of growing it out again. Maybe get a wolf cut or something. by @the_cageinator22
