Congratulations to ABS Powerlifting athlete Azees Fetuga, who for the third consecutive competition has dominated his weight class and brought home the Best Lifter Award.🏆

Previously claiming the 2024 & 2025 December Open U93 Champion titles, Azees once again shows why his name belongs among some of the strongest athletes in the country.

2024 December Open: 650kg total (U93)🥇

2025 December Open: 685kg total (U93)🥇

2026 September Open: 725kg total (U105)🥇

Squat: 265kg (+15kg)
Bench: 155kg (+12.5kg)
Deadlift: 305kg (+10kg)
Total: 725kg (+40kg)

Another huge performance from Azees, adding 40kg to his total while edging closer to the Open Nationals team standard. 📈

Congratulations to Azees on winning the U93kg weight class division at the IrishPF December Open!

Despite missing his deadlift opener, Azees stayed composed and delivered a solid performance, securing a calculated third attempt to clinch the victory and match his best total PR.

Looking ahead to early 2025, Azees is eager to return to the platform, aiming to claim another podium finish and surpass his previous competition total.

Nice little win to debut into the IPF and for my third comp,
A little disappointed I missed the third squat on balance smh.

Speed wobbled on my opening deadlift also lmao
And finished 12.5kg under my deadlift PB to secure the dub

All in all a nice day out with some handy PBs to boot despite rehabing my knees and quads coming into it.

USAPL Leinster Open Recap

Bench Press: 130 (+12.5kg)
Deadlift: 295 (+10kg)
Total: 650 (+35kg)
Dots: 426.67

Location: Dublin, Ireland 📍

This was our first competition working together and it did not disappoint! He finished 2nd overall, just behind a veteran in the game @built_tolast_fitness 🐐🥈

Azees secured a 35kg total PR and a 295kg deadlift, which was the biggest deadlift in under 90kg division 🦍

Azees is currently prepping for the USAPL Munster Open where he will be looking to challenge once again for a podium position. by @the_circle_baron
