This week’s “Sparkling Sports Sunday” pick is this awesome NV Brut Nature from @sparklingpointe here on the North Fork. 56% Pinot Noir and 44% Chardonnay, this is always my go-to BTG when we visit the tasting room. Today, it pairs with (I hope) an offensive line that can block even a little and an over-the-hill QB that either finds a fountain of youth for an afternoon or is replaced by any of the other options on the Steelers roster. And again, thanks for the inspiration @adrienneec !!! by @the_cork_report

Happy Sparkling Sports Sunday, all. My wife and I are on a quick weekend getaway in the Catskills—but I have my Terrible Towel and NFL Sunday Ticket, so I’ll be watching the game later.

And to drink we picked up this sparkling red non-cider from @leftbankciders in Catskill. It’s made from red hybrids (I have to investigate exactly what) and local honey and is very much in the Lambrusco lane, but different too. by @the_cork_report

Over on my Substack I “borrowed” @adrienneec ‘s “Sparkling Sunday” and I’m adding a football spin to it for the NFL season. Link in bio to read more and I hope you’ll join in the fun! by @the_cork_report
